honestly i find a bit of a bitter joke from WG. advertising the test prepares us for the German BBs. Sure it does. preparing us testing something that`s not the German BBs. the AP normalization and some other tweaks of the game. then i find it misleading announcing that the test prepares us for the German BB line. it does prepare us for the use of the AP mechanics of the game and not the particular German BB line.

Well, it doesn't really prepare us for them in any way, but read the entire article again and tell me where it mentions German BBs except for the title. Pay special attention to the "What to expect in public test 0.5.10?" Section.

They are shown in the tech tree in PT. But actually DEBBs were in 0.5.9. As they are still under NDA on live they were never going to be available for the PT. But I agree that the headline wording is misleading.

Its a statement that certainly points toward the test being mostly about the German BB line with some additional things to test too.

Not wasting anymore time on this test which is just some minor gloss, I can use my time better on the main server earning and saving more XP and credits for when the German BB line really lands

It was when the PT was first announced, in the sections, but it was changed quickly.

They put permament camo for Bismarck inside the PT. It's the only German thing you will test :]

You can earn an extra 12500 doubloons if you win 10 battles. I suspect the requirement for T9/10 will be changed in a couple of days. It has probably been set at that level at the start so people do not just play high tiers

I already asked a question about this, the first post below the post quoted earlier in this thread.

 

I think it makes sense, they have other features that they want to be tested as well.

Release the German BBs now, no one is going to have eyes for those features.

Maybe tomorrow, or this weekend, or next week, will they make German BBs available, after the other features have been tested.

 

But yeah, communication could have been clearer, so far no reply to my question either.

I know about the doubloons, still not enough in the test to waste time on the 10 victories in order to get them
