Try to research or buy any of the German Battleships.

 

3. Result

Unable to test any of the German Battleships, despite being told "Public Test 0.5.10 Preps You For German Battleships".

This might be a bug report or not. 

 

1. Description

Destroyers take around 40% to 60% of their maximum health as damage when hit by a torpedo that should cause around 150% of their maximum health as damage at Tier VII and VIII. 

 

2. Reproduction Steps

Hit for example a Mahan with a Mogami torpedo. It will take around 50% of its hitpoints as damage but it will survive the hit. 

 

3. Result

The Torpedo does less damage than indicated by the damage value to an unprotected (no torpedo belt) target. 

 

4. Expected result

The Torpedo should hit the Target and cause the correct amount of damage

Bug report for graphical issues with Fubuki and Ibuki (since 0.5.8.0)

 

1. Description

Fubuki has an issue with the shadow under the 2nd turret on the A and B hull. The shadow on the structure is deep black and looks like a normal shadow with 300% intensity. 

 

Ibuki has since 0.5.8.0 a bug with any camouflage on the 3rd and 4th turrets. The position of the camo has moved around the turret and is now on top of the turret and on the gun pipes aswell. 

 

2. Reproduction Steps

Take Fubuki in battle and watch the shadow on the 2nd turret. Maybe you need to apply a camo.

 

Apply a camo (Type 5) on Ibuki and take a look at the turrets. 

 

3. Result

Both seem to be graphical issues. Ibukis issue started with the reworked amour model in 0.5.8.0.

 

4. Expected result

Fubukis shadow of the 2nd turret should match the look of the other shadows on the ship. 

 

Ibukis camo should not be dezerred on the 3rd and 4th turret.

No it's definitely a bug, since they just confirmed that German Battleships are coming in 0.5.10 ;)

It would make no sense to have a public test and not include the biggest change in the patch, instead asking us to test some insignificant changes that have a negligible impact for most users (shell normalisation) or only target a small minority of users (colour blind mode). And the language of the public test post strongly implies that we will be able to test German Battleships, very clearly a bug.

 

Seriously though, at the very least this is grossly misleading, but really it's just stupid clickbait to get up to test their changes for free and waste our time since they know nobody would participate in public test if it was just these worthless changes and capped at tier 8. I know it's intentional, but I am pointing out how dishonest and slimy WG is.

People reasonably expect German BBs, we don't get German BBs, I file bug report and then WG must answer and say they intentionally misled us.

1. Description
Black screen with loading icon in port.

 

2. Reproduction steps

Enter the game after logging in.

 

 

3. Result

Unable to view selected ship in port, even after switching to other tabs, or selecting a different ship.

Loading icon stays, port sounds are heard.

Had no such issues last night.

Tried to log out, but game was unresponsive and had to shut it down from the task manager.

Logged back in, this time, there appears to be no problem.

 

4. Expected result

Being able to see ships in port.

 

5. Technical details

Bug time: 1915 hrs CET (GMT+1)

I also have the compressed UI bug as ppl call it.. as other people allready did the whole bug report detail i will just show my POV... it happens after a couple of games 

 

Screenshot 1 = When loading into a game

Screenshot 2 =  When game has ended

Screenshot 3 = Back in port

 

And when trying to exit the game  i can only see the No option in the top left corner of the screen

Bug report template

1. Description

The Mission Win 3 Matches in a Division is impossible to comeplete

2. Reproduction steps

I played more than 3 matches in a division and the mission is still not completed

3. Result

I will not be able to aquire the reward flags for completing the mission when the new patch is released on my main account

4. Expected result

The mission should go away if it worked properly like the other two missions that are win with 10 cruisers and win with 10 battleships. Which i have completed and they have been removed as they should from the missions tab.

5. Technical details

Bug time: about 21:00 (CEST) 9/8 .Replay (attempted to comelpete it several times untill around 00:00) the same evening

  1. Experiencing problems with "rubberbanding/teleporting planes just like Elendor reports. Planes suddenly becomes invisible or glimpses back to CV just to switch back a second later. Lexington Carrier. Both bomber and Torpedo bomber squads are affected. Squads also fly "trough" the mountains.
  2.  Happens in every game last played 11.8.2016 15:48 CET+2

 

Happy to inform you that after tonights/todays (14.8.2016) patch i have had no rubberbanding/teleporting plane squadrons on Lexington. Haven't played on Two Brothers though only Hotspot and 2x Estuary.

This morning 15.08.2016 09:36 CET+2  i played on Two Brothers in Lexington. No problems detected.

I also played Shokaku  15.08.2016 09:55 on Land of Fire. No problems detected.

  1. Description bug 1 : will not shut down leaves me with a black screen and unable to call up windows 10 task manager (Ctrl-Alt-Delete) so I’ve had to hard reboot my system this has happened 3 times now, so have started to call up task manager to shut down game      :hmm:

Don't know if it's a Bug or not, but I still have enemy ships disappearing while fighting even at close distance of 5/6 km.

I'll send you the replays as ticket

 

P.S.

By the way, playing on a an iMac 2010 running 10.8.5 with a wrapper self built.... but it works very nice apart some strange flickering zooming on squadrons when playing with an AC. Works better with an iMac 2014 i7 running 10.10.5

Real World view when playing carrier

 

I cannot switch from tactical map to real view when playing carrier. 

 

This means I cannot see attacks happening, or manoeuvre my carrier when attacked.

 

I switched on and off SHIFT in settings, but it makes no difference

 

Pls instruct how to reset or whatever.

Battle crashed at the moment it was decided. My ship (Nagato) back in port as if battle never happened. All flags and camo still on her

After todays update, the bug described in #5 is still present.

One thing I noticed is that, if I'm looking elsewhere and move to where the squadron is supposed to be, it reapears in the right place. Also (don't know if related top this bug) but my squadrons' movement appears all janky while passing beneath the game chat.

If you launch torpedos split second before your ship is destroyed, "fishes" are not in the water despite audible splash sound of torpedos before ship detonation sound.

 

2. Reproduction steps

With Mutsuki was unclear but with Aoba there was no doubt that splash sound was before detonation sound

Torpedos not in the water

 

4. Expected result

Torpedos in the water

 

5. Technical details

None except question: do that splash represent actual torpedo splash or it is kind of trigger sound?

I had the trouble with the user interface as well (as some people reported earlier). Slight difference, instead of just screenshots I just grabbed the video. Mostly because some parts of the UI did show correctly after a few seconds. This is what the bug looked like to me:
