Let me present to you a couple of reasons. 1) Limited Resources - you receive a mere 1000 Doubloons, which will last you for exactly 2 captain retrainings ( one retraining costs 500 Doubloons) 2) Limited to T8 - you don't get to test the changes in ships you would like to sail, because above T8, XP requirements are a joke, good luck gathering over 700.000 XP for T9 and about 900.000 XP for T10 3) False Advertising - It was indicated on the World of Warships site that you would get to test drive the new german BBs, which clearly isn't happening. How can the test 'prepare us' for german BBs if we haven't got a chance to try them? Nice bait, WG 4) Changes Too Minor - there is almost no point on testing, changes are insignificant, at least from my perspective. A few maps get a visual facelift, a few sounds added, colourblind support. What shall I test? If I am not colourblind, then too bad, I guess? That German Steel better show up soon, alongside with the promised Scharnhorst. They advertise this as getting ready for German BBs, but only one available is Tirpitz, after 10 victories. Bit odd, right? Will they just test all the other features of this update and then enable us to go through the German BB tree like rabid dogs, or will that be in another iteration, after the current testing period, altogether? Isn't there already enough grind on the live server? Having to grind from tier 4 to tier 10 on a test server was already a bad idea, and now you've drastically reduced the aviable gold aswell? I'd like to help you test, but no, I don't have time to first grind, and then test. And I'm not going to torture myself with mid-tier grind, I've already had enough of that on the live server. Seriusly, what's the big deal with giving out all ships on the test server for free? It's still just a test account that will get whiped after the test is closed. Let us focus on the actual testing, not all of us have time to first grind the ship that we want to test before we can do the actual testing. And then also, what's the whole thing with teasing us with the new German Battleships for two versions, but still not allowing us to test them? What's so secret about them that they still need to be under NDA even though you've advertised them to be released during august and we're now almost in mid-august but we can't even try them out yet? I'm not impressed by these kinds of tests, I havn't taken part in this test, and neither will I take part in tests if you continue this trend. I'm pretty gutted myself, normally take part to play ships I've not yet tried, but there's nothing in here that's new to me, played most high tiers I've not been bothered to grind on live server, so this is gonna have to be testing for the love of the game and very little enjoyment. I'd agree if they only did it for new branches, like the German BB line (which is still not aviable). AA is way to heavy, a new york shoots down 3 torpedo bombers and 4 dive bombers, and thats on a long range drop of torpedos and quick dive bomb run. Not everyone has the time to play 2-3 hours before they can actually do the testing. Keep in mind that this is not a payed job, we're doing this for free...
