High Tier Economy - Give the winning Team a repair cost Discount

Well, to cut it short:

 

In games where t9 or t10 shisp are present, the winning team should get a massive repair cost reduction bonus.

Since t8 can see t10 games and t7 can see t9 games regularly, its gonna be a buff to them as well since their earning can rise if they win.

 

 

You just have to play the game correctly.

you can already make big profits in tier 10 ships. there is no need for that. have a good game=earn huge amount of credits, have a bad game=lose credits.

Better idea, just reduce repair cost across the board for tier 7 trough 8 by about 35%.

Will fix the problem and then introduce a credit bonus for spotting your own targets and a tanking bonus for BBs.

This would force high tier to be more dynamic.

 

But for now the best solution is to stop playing above tier 7, if nobody plays tier 8 through 10 wg will have to act.

and just because some people can't afford to play high tiers because they aren't good enough to earn money there and too lazy to support it with lower tier games, others should stop playing the ships they most enjoy? Brilliant logic good sir...

No you can't.

SOME can, perhaps, if they get thankfu ltargets.

 

But generally no, you do not make profits, especialy not when doing your job and getting killed for it.

 

 

If the winning team gets to skimp on the repair costs, it will encourage actually playing for the WIN instead of the survive.

 

And that will help the general health of the high tier games more than you sitting here telling us about how much profit the unicorns can make.

Better than not allowing majority of players to enjoy the whole game just because some Duning-Kruger effects like this:

Don't agree on discount for winning team. If you want discount, it should be for High tier repair in general, not winning team.

some ppl might want to drop down to tier 6-8 to actually learn the frikn game bevore playing/derping around in their tier 10 ships? no?

 

I barely make negative income with even my high tier ships. Play well. Dont be a douche.

and btw:

use premium time if you can barely break even.

how else is WG supposed to make money

Actualy playing in tier X ships is not problem, with premium time and if you play average game you have nice incom (even if you die). Ofc if you die early your lose credits. But for me is biger problem in tier IX. Difference in strength between tier IX and tier X ships is large.On other hand, between tierVIII and IX difference is much less.Its much harder play well in tier IX than in tier X. Economy stritly in tier X isnt major problem.

Well, you can play up to T10 for free, but nobody said it would be easy or enjoyable... if you don't spend money, you have to live with some drawbacks and lack of credits is one of them.

But generally I don't see, why there should be a problem with playing lower tiers to gain credits... after all there is no gameplay advantage of higher tiers... there is no endgame content (yet).

The problem with the t10 repair costs is not on game part is on player side.They are so afraid to play ,they do really poor damage rolls and objectives controls,and then they complain they lose money.Well i hate to brake it to you but you can actually start playing like a t10 player???

ps:one day i made 6 mil credits with zao,yeah t10 costs are sht

Credits are no object for me but I still barely play T9/T10.

 

T5 to T8 are where the balance between fun and so srs play is.

Very true, Think of your tactics before starting the engines, a lot of things need to be considered before you dive for a kill. Good Play gets Good Rewards.

Just wish I had this result in every T10 game

Some doesn't play with it. And those can barely makes 300 000 credits total when doing a game as good as this one. Now substract it to the 240 000 credits of if you sink + ammo cost. Big profits.

I suspect if you abolished repair costs entirely... Not much would change in terms of play anyway. Actually we can test this on public test which is coming up :)

True, but i still want loosing team to suffer more, especially when they survive. I want them sunk at the end of the battle, with double repaircosts. Maybe remove the costs when winning?

winning gives already bonus credits and exp. why removing the repair costs?

Or even triple costs, i really want survivors on loosing team punished. 20 mins and full hp Iowas etc. annoys me beyond imagination

Why would you want survivors on the losing team punished?

It cold be the survivors are the ones playing the game correct, Not showing broadside at 5-10km, not steaming in for a easy kill when 2 enemy BB's are on the flanks waiting. and so on.

My whole intention is to survive a game, win or lose, and sometimes survivors end with more points then the winning 1st place.

I admit some players are bad and camp on lines B or I, firing from 27km, but you can't think of punishing survivors. :P
