[UTW] ShinGetsu Weekend Tester, In AlfaTesters 8,985 posts 7,359 battles Report post #28 Posted August 8, 2016 Shell arcs make it almost impossible to use AP effectively at anything other than short range. Only on Cleveland, Baltimore and DM. And it's not "almost impossible", it's "very difficult". It doesn't change the fact that, when they hit, they hit VERY hard. Especially at long range since they drop vertically on the target and citadel almost anything.

Very much this...... despite the games slower pace than say World of Tanks there is a lot of multitasking to do even on the most simple ships, if you give the game time you will improve and a couple of things to remember you are normally not as good as your last victory or as bad as your last loss. There are people that are idiots and who will blame you when the team loses but in all honesty the amount of times that one player loses a game for a team are pretty limited and I would simply ignore that kind of ranting. EsaTuunanen Beta Tester 3,552 posts 8,863 battles Report post #34 Posted August 8, 2016 I would even say Aiming guides are useless "now". Low tiers require a different aiming technique as T4+ anyway (imho) as arcs, distances, speeds and ship sizes change vastly early on. Shell flight time is still the most important aspect. Simply because if trying to learn leading by target's distance different shell trajectories are going to mess it when changing ship while correct lead for particular target is always same when shell flight time is same. (distance just varies)

I don't know how many time I have to repeat myself, but the gun arc from Pensacola and NO is the same as the bloody japanese 203. EXACTLY the same. If you can aim with Myoko, you can with Pensacola and NO. Eurobeat even proven it in his Indianapolis video.
