Anniversary offers - tips and discussion

Since it's WG's anniversary, they're likely to have many different offers. Instead of spreading everything out, why not collect and discuss them in a single thread?

 

So far, I've only seen an offer of Lo Yang

(475SEK = About 50€). 7500 doubloons is about 30€ and 30 days premium is about 10€, so basically, you get the ship for a little over 10€.

 

Seems like a pretty good offer, but I already have a lot of premiums, and this one isn't very well known to me, doesn't really fit in a tech tree of mine, and I can't motivate the purchase by saying it would work in ranked, so I think I'll pass anyway.

i particularly look forward to getting the scharnhorst but the konig albert would be a really nice addition too because when high tier gets frustrating i just love to drop down and do some low tier madness.

Damn, that looks like a nice offer.  Having just got the Benson I am not sure I need another tier 8 gunboat... but it does look nice and decent value.

Well last year we got the Albany, but only because they had it lying around and nobody would have paid anything for that ship

No Free XP/credit conversion discount?
No high-tier ship discount? (hey, especially fun since the "reduced repaircost-event" also ended a week ago)

Only low-tier ship discounts, which apart from the Murmansk & Texas, and to a lesser degree Marblehead & Ishizushi, have absolutely no serious use in the game. Okay, it's 50%, but 50% of nothing is still nothing.

 

 

Very disappointed, to say the least! We'll see what the NA gets, and the RU... But I like ASIA's offer way more than what we've got.
