It could work, and if it would, it would be glorious. It's like when you switch to AP with a DD against a CA. Give or take a few hundred meters. Yeah that's true, tested it in the trainings room. You have to be very very close to hit T10 BBs citadel reliably. At 6km I think only Moskva is able to do so. The others have to be at 4km or closer. you sure des moines cant load AP and wreck t10 BB from more then 4km?ok, you won't be hitting 5 citadels every salvo, but you will get LARGE damage amounts every 6 sec, so you can melt away broadside BB quite fast...
