It seems like they give absolutely nothing and you can't even put camos on them. What kind of a reward is this if they are weaker than normal ships? So what's the point really? Collectors ships, ARP fans love them in Japan. Without doubt, for me, the best compo was the Kamikaze R, the ship is fun,

Seems like they could be more creative with the repeated missions though.

SangueBluEnzo Beta Tester 101 posts 10,465 battles Report post #30 Posted August 12, 2016 WHAT!!! Please don't tell me there is another ARP ship to play for. It would be much better if these ARP ships in my Nerd collection had special modules. Hey, they are free so bring it on. 3 x Hiei Captains Ofc there are more :] gehee( like Gajeel would say ) but Iona is based on I-401 submarine so propably we wont see her unless if they make her just swim on the surface and use some guns but then propably historical players would get a heart attack. Im sure we will see another Myoko- Nachi though and I cant belive they dont wanna add most popular character in the series sweet Takao later she is blue colored.Notice cool looking sign of Takao or whetever its called. That would be best arp ship ... but I guess as it is Takao ( Atago) so they would be basicly giving you free tier 8 premium ship and they dont know what to do I guess....or they know...and they wont introduce her... which is atrocious.

You actually finish the missions no matter which port you have chosen. And that can still cost you a reserve slot (or more) for captains, so this is something they need to get fixed. However beyond that, even if you finish the missions you're not going to see the content beyond the ARP prefix so it's something it's worthless to spend your time whining about.

I think if people made the conscious choice to not want to see the ARP stuff, they really don't care for those missions either and therefore those should also not be visible, and not forcefully participated in. No I have not chosen the Yokosuka port it looks stupid. I have the Hawaii port as standard. Mission are completed even if u like it or not. The thing is that you get rewarded with ships that u dont want to use. So its hardly a reward -right? Just let us sell the crapfor credits then I would be happy. But it is no loss either. Use it or leave it. Iona was the lvl 16 captain on Asia server (which made more sense to me) but EU decided to copy Hiei. Very unfortunate :/ Can't wait for the Tsundere-class cruiser though.

But it is no loss either. Use it or leave it. *snip* You don't stumble upon, you play your games and it automatically counts towards the ARP missions, whether you like it or not. With a full barracks as result. Which can be highly annoying. When you select any port other than Yokosuka port, WG can make ARP ships show up as normal ships. In that light, I'm quite confident they can make a checkbox to opt out of ARP missions so that you don't have to see them, and so that your battle results don't count towards those missions. [TRUMP] DenmarkRadar Players 161 posts 20,889 battles Report post #38 Posted August 16, 2016 Y U do dis Why does my reserve have to be filled with Hiei. T_T If you fill up your reserve just before you get Hiei (the commander) then you are also given a free reserve slot. Thus you will have the same amount of free slots once you "empty" the reserves again.

Walzwerk Players 23 posts 4,488 battles Report post #40 Posted August 18, 2016 (edited) I dont understand the thing with Warships in Neon commanded by Little Girls in school uniform. Perhaps Im to old. Would not mind if u could sell the crapand get some credits for it. Never going to play them anyway. That´s what I thought at first: "barely clothed underage school girls ruling neon warships with huge cannons, vibration warheads, commanded by AI...WTF??? What kind of Freudian horrortrip is that?" ..But then I grew interested, and started watching the anime, and was pretty surprised how interesting it is. The plot may seem weird, but there is actually some story going on, some pretty complex psychology, compared to european cartoon shows, ect......and then, genderwise: it´s the girls who drive the story, the guys are merely tagging along. At some point, the lead guy even asks Haruna flat-out "why on earth are you mental models all girls??" and actually gets a really nice explanation for it. I won´t tell, though... ;-) (I believe you can figure it out, though, if you think about it....they in a way ARE the ships...) * Ok, back to WG: Why play them ingame? Well, they look funny, and you get some variety in voices (the speak japanese with different voice actors for each ship. I already learned "Arigato!" ;-) ), and the special effect on torpedo hits looks really spectacular. Plus, as they are parallel to regular ships, I use my 4 Kongo and 2 Myoko sisters to try out different upgrade combinations. Made some useful discoveries that saved a lot of credits that way. Anyway, i am looking forward to Takao. Not only because she is a lead character in the anime, and one of the more agreeable ones at that**, but also because I love the regular Myoko and Mogami, and the Takao class cruisers came in between, but are missing from the tree. And as the sister ships model Atago is already there and just needs to be painted..... I only hope, it will be possible to get her without buying the Atago, that would be a real bummer. I also do not really get the reasoning, why WG should make buying the Atago compulsory. Because Atago owners would "feel less special"?? Why is that? Atago costs real money, but is a premium ship with free switch of captain and permanently earns extra Credits and XP, which justifies the real money spent. ARP Takao would be a gift ship without extra rewards, limited choice of captain, and a cool paintjob, so where is the problem? I would go as far to say I would not mind, if the alternative blue painting (after joining Aoki Hagane no Arupeggio) could be bought for gold in "exterior", despite not giving any bonus..... If you really don´t like ARP..well...just switch port, and it´s gone...but if the girls are really taking up bunk space in the Reserve, cannot be dismissed and are always there, that´s weird, WG should fix that * --------------------------------------------- Haruna´s answer is: "Before rebuilding us after the wrecks found in your oceans, Admirality Code read all your documents on naval warfare, and in all those references, you humans referred to ships as female. That´s why." ** --------------------------------- In my opinion, Iona is disturbingly childish to express at some point, very earnest, and with the sweetest of intonation: "I am a weapon. I only have one purpose: to fight and destroy". Creepy barbie-doll serial killer Kongou is more or less adult, elegant, cultivated, but cold as ice, and pretty hard to handle...Haruna obviously carries some problems, but seems nice so far ("Shazaaam!" Muaharr). Kirishima is all gung-ho!, And Myoko is a stone-cold killer (which is pretty nicely reflected in WG by the vessel´s ability to citadel reliably at 15km, imho). Hiei is pure military material. No BS, mission first, with due respect, Sir! http://aokihagane.wikia.com/wiki/Mental_Model Edited August 18, 2016 by Walzwerk
[CKK] Tigdam Players 120 posts 7,147 battles Report post #41 Posted September 22, 2016 (edited) I don't mind collecting the ships but perhaps more captain points in the beginning would be useful and give us more of a reason to grind for them. Also we need more variety in ship classes, not just kongo but maybe Takao or some of the light cruisers or even ships from other country's like England so the battle cruiser ARP repulse or ARP vampire (DD escorting repulse also British) =3 or for something already in game then ARP Bismarck Edited September 22, 2016 by Tigdam
Ten_Ichi_Go Players 116 posts Report post #42 Posted November 9, 2016 Correction. You receive 1 7800 000 credits and port slot ... and have in port only one ship. But now i have 3 (three !) commander Hiei ... one with 16 points, second with 3 points and third with 0 points. Three girls for one ship ... Does anybody can confirm that? WG support trying to convince me, the ARP ships are worthless.... erm... priceless It is to say, that when you get a second Hiei, or second Haguro now (November ARP missions), you get (and you should? get) 0 (zero) credits... They explain it the ship has no codded value. SO HOW THE HECK DID WE GET CREDITS EARLIER?
