There's no way Tirpitz has 56 AA rating.

People don't know how to maximize AA DPS, if they did they would know Tirpitz AA is insanely strong against same tier. Only against T9 or T10 it is lackluster due to the huge HP boost CVs get from module.

My Texas has an AA rating of 66 with flags and relevant skills (no point in taking manual control as most of the guns are small AA) and I still get torped by tier 5 CVs, true most of their planes die in the attack but rarely all of them especially if is USN. Most divebombers don't make it through though as they have to take the short range (2.4km) AA that really racks up the amount of damage. 

 

Tier 6 and 7 can always hurt me if they want to but again they do lose planes just correspondingly less for their relevant tier.

 

So I'm not all surprised Tirpitz die with only 56 AA . I remember the 'bad old days' of CVs ruling the waves. Tirpitz were normally the first to die and normally in one wave! I see a lot less of that now partly down to AA buffs and also CV nerfs.

 

And come on, the Tirpitz has to have some weaknesses and non stellar AA is far from the worse thing to be bad at. Didn't it also just get buffed so it's even harder to citadel at range?

furthermore with 0,5,9,1 no more than 1 CV t8+ per side in MM, should be a little help to the Torpitz
