Yeah, because special weekend discount, it will cost "only" around 800 doubloons (instead of 1125) to fix my captain skills after 0.5.9 patch screws them up for benson,fubuki and tashkent... yeah, thank you wg...

So the cost of reseting 1 captain perk will cost 1 doubloons during the weekend (for 15 pkt captain it is only 15 doubloons). Nice!

 

And I bet there still be complains "I do not have doubloons, WG screw me"

 From 28 July at 07:10 CEST until 4 August at 07:10 CEST the skill reset for commanders will be discounted to a symbolic amount of 1 Doubloon per 1 Skill point. During this period players will receive 100 Doubloons when they log into the client to make any necessary changes.

Yeah so the communication through curses and the whip does work. (I wonder if a cat-o-nine-tails would work better ....)

 

I really really do wonder why WG has to always take the approach of maximum-pissing-off-people first and only then get to sit down and think when the mob is about to burn them on the stake. Do they have a someone exclusively dedicated to offend and annoy people or are they taking turns?

As mentioned before, previously we’d received feedback that a full skill drop for all commanders had caused many players to have to undertake the boring chore of setting up all their commanders correctly again.

 

As opposed to the exiting fair weather picknick that is going through all the captains anyway, to make sure those that I have plans for, or that simply need it + have a point to spend, get something else in order to not get auto-fucked up.

There's been ship discounts every week for a month, and it's the second time around in the last few months. Port slot discounts also happened fairly recently. Upgrades I can't recall, but they give away upgrades like candy anyway for events/missions, and they're not expensive to begin with. Camo costs nothing, unless you're talking about premium camo, but then eh.

 

Wargaming is not perfect, but you're barking up the wrong tree here.

I'm aware they did the ship class discounts, maybe they throw everything on discount at the same time. Port slot discount was only ONCE and some people might have missed that window of opportunity due to real life obligations. As for upgrades, I just bought the gearing and am flat broke now. Discounts would be nice to actually get her equiped (RoF upgrade 3 million, concealment 2 million). And yes, permanent camouflage. The OP asked what we expected; these for me personally would be nice. Who are you to disagree with what would work for me

I think you have it all wrong,  it s the other way arround… It was the pissed off people making enough noise,  or else it would have gone as planned….

I'm not disagreeing at all, I pointed out that a big part of what you wrote is factually wrong. 

 

And yes, it'd be "nice" to have discounts on everything, all the time, but then it's not really discounts is it. And I didn't say that port slots have been discounted several times, I said the latest discount was fairly recently.

Since this is the end of the month, which is the usual time for their 'collector of the month' sale, I bet they'll put all premium ships they ever sold before in the shop at the same time. That would be quite a sight, with Lo Yang, An Shan, Blyskawica, Yubari, Sims, Kamikaze, Fujin, etc. Probably minus Gremy and Imperator, through, thus the notion of 'almost everything'.
