Just passing by i noticed this unusually positive topic, so here's a quick comment and high-five! :hmm:

We know very well that there are things still missing or sub-par in the game. I dare say that such is the life of mmo, especially f2p. However, we're working hard to fill those gaps and we're happy that our recent labors have been received positively.

I agree. The last patches have brought some incredibly good changes/improvements to the game.

I got high hopes for what WG brings in the future :)

since I'm at my 1 year anniversary playing WoWs I'll just add I've seen a huge improvement in the game during that time.

theres no line humpers, fewer TKers, the UI while not perfect has great functionality, theres lots more ships, more modes of game play, weather, getting to play on the test server ... too many people focus on ranting about the negatives and take the positives as entitlements. the game will never be perfect or satisfy everyone but its fun, competitive and pretty ... cant ask for more.

So... we are having a "be positive" day I see. Nothing wrong with that, the balance is important and feedback like yours is important.

I will only write that just because people complain doesn't mean they do not enjoy the game. A lot of the times they complain because they feel like they could enjoy the game much more than they already do. Often negative feedback comes from the love towards the product or love towards the concept. Love and Hate are emotions very close to each other and on game forums it's almost indistinguishable.

Fun is subjective but game is neither competitive nor pretty.

Just to say that I share the opinion of the thread starter.

Been playing wows from last September, and I find that the game is improving,  expecially in the last couple of patches.

As much as we might complain (and I very much put myself on that list) the bottom-line is that if we didn't enjoy the game or at least think it had the potential to be worthwhile spending time playing, we would leave and spend our time doing something else. The staff have much more invested in the game, we leave and the game fails there is every chance they will lose their jobs.

To be honest it's true. I started playing in CBT and apart from a few "oops" moments the game has improved a lot. I particularly like the mods being incorporated into the main game. Plus new ships to play.

Game needs to continue at this rate focussing in new content. Ships, maps, game modes. At its core the game is amazingly good. We do like to focus on the 20% that needs improvement and forget the 80% that's great.
