But to be really correct, the minimum value of 9500 gold can only be your €31,14 when you're prepared to incur additional costs - the opportunity cost of buying more doubloons than you might need, plus the cost of speculating that the Scharn might be available ingame for doubloons. With 10000 doubloons bought for €35.79, your 9500 doubloons would actually cost €34.

Scharnhorst is not the same as Gneisenau they have diferent guns in game. But Princ Eugen and admiral Hipper ar the same.

Yes, good luck actually being able to pay [edited]doubloons for it. Then I'm sure your conversion from the 100€ doubloon package will work.

 

The code gives a price tag, but it doesn't mean the ship will be available with doubloons. It just means that if the ship is available without a bundle, it will be ~38€ from the base conversion of 10-2500.

I think WG learned with Atago how much of a boost that is, so it's unlikely to happen again. Even if it would be amazing.

 

Radar is a distinct possibility imo, but we will see.

I really doubt that the german BB line will be ready this month based on the performance of the Grosser Kurfürst in one battle I had tonight. its survivability is simply too poor for the tier and when it is not bruning like a torch from stem to stern its armour doesn't provide effective protection against AP and even high calibre HE shots.

In short it is my impression that the Tirpitz should win in a 1 vs. 1 against the Grosser Kurfürst and judging by what I have seen tonight and elsewhere the german BB line stops at the Bismarck when it comes to ships worth the grind.

That depends on the server. Tirpitz is available on Asia and NA servers for doubloons. Doesn't mean Scharnhorst will be, but the premium store price for Tirpitz is in line with the doubloon price, taking into account the lack of a port slot with the doubloon price.
