From this point on it's not a german design anymore. The guns are TINY compared to the size of the ship. If at least the HP would reflect the size, but nothing does. It doesnt add up. It's a Great Frankenstein.

The HP should be buffed, massively. To represent the size of a ship.

And then for such a big ship there were NO plans for such tiny guns. If such a big ship would have been build, it would have 480mm guns. But nothing should have bigger guns than Yamato, WG said long ago. So reduce the fricking size of that thing. It will be like the Yorck all over again. The weakest of the whole line. But this time the weakest link will be the TOP OF THE LINE at Tier 10. I mean wtf?

I was onboard with the hp...as long as the armor would relfect that. Which it apparently does NOT from the reviews I read about meetings in battles.

I was onboard with the Tripletrrets...even tho they were only from russian archives and no mention on any site dedicated with the H-class ships, ever before.

But I am NOT on board with making it that big without #1 the necessary HP; #2 the necessary guns; #3 the necessary armor to survive.

Just a view things ... the Großer Kurfürst ... well played Wargaming. Nice to sea how open you shows that you try to muck the Germans up ...

Seriosly, a 305 metres long ship who have a displacement from ~ 80000 tons (after Wargaming stats) and then just 88000HP? 9200 HP less then the Yamato? The most worse joke i ever have seen ...

HUrt1xN.jpg

3ec897-1469903615.png

Simple math ... Yamato = 72809 tons = 97200 HP ... Großer Kurfürst = 80058 tons = x

x = 97200 / 72809 * 80058 = 106877,4 ~ 106900 HP !!!

..............................................................................................................................

Next point, the gun range ... seriosly, why should guns with the bigger maximal shooting range and at least equal good if not better range finders have less firing range then the Bismarck? Where is there the logic?

http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNGER_15-52_skc34.php

http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNGER_16-52_skc34.htm

38cm SK C/34 L/52 = 36520 metres max range = 21,2 / 21,4km ingame (Bismarck/Tirpitz)
40,6cm C/34 L/52 = 36800 metres max range

36520 |21,2  to 36800 | x ... 21,2 / 36520 * 36800 = 21,36
36520 | 21,4 to 36800 | x ... 21,4 / 36520 * 36800 = 21,56

--> 40,6cm C/34 L/52 = 21,4 to 21,6km ingame !!!

Is there a CV perspective pic?

Taking screens via normal view is ridiculously distorted. See how you can actually make a Kuma look about the same length as a Kongo by playing w. camera perspective.

Any question about the size of the Großer Kurfürst?

From time to time i have the feeling that Wargaming scale the Yamato smaler in compare to the other ships ... that the Großer Kurfürst is 305 metres long based on the folowing pic who shows the Großer Kurfürst directly side by side withe a Norh Carolina (in real ~ 222 metres)

I measured the folowing: North Carolina ~ 10,5cm at the pic in original size and Großer Kurfürst ~ 14,5cm at the pic in original size

222 | 10,5 = x | 14,5 ... 222 / 10,5 * 14,5 = 306,57 ~ 305 metres

GKIowa.jpg

But i note at this moment that the pic name say Iowa ... hmmm ... then i have to calculate new ...

Iowa ~ 270 metres ... 270 | 10,5 = x | 14,5 ... 222 / 10,5 * 14,5 = 372,86 ~ 373 metres :hiding:

I do think that is a N.Carolina, based off the Chinese. I think whoever named the screenshot didn't know the difference (or Chinese).

I think the same ... and so this count: 222 | 10,5 = x | 14,5 ... 222 / 10,5 * 14,5 = 306,57 ~ 305 metres

why does the Bayern have so many different ranges?

also I like buffs to my Tirpitz:trollface:

They silent-buffed Tirpitz acc in 0.5.8.1. So Bismarck/Gneisenau acc will be the same as Tirpitz now....

It is North Carolina.

The writing says 北卡罗来纳级.

Also re:those dispersions.

I've said it before, but that dispersion is roughly the same as American ships and couple with the better sigma at most tiers, they will be slight more accurate. The accuracy on German ships will definitely not be as horrible as some people think, just not very good either.

Any chance i am overly optimistic that wargaming lowered the hp of the greater bratwurst because its going to have monstrously strong armor ?

It has 381mm main belt armor without turtleback...so the armor isn't that strong.

out of what reason whatsoever... all H-classes afaik would have received even stronger turtlebacks then the Bismarck... ingame meanwhile the Friedrich gets a aweaker one and the kurfürst.... well... you just said it...

The accuracy of German BB is good up to tier 8. After that, it's a totally shotgun-like one.

- Hull armour : very good, very hard to citadel.

- Turret / barbette armour : weak for tier 10 (380 mm max) so you don't want to close range too much because you will be doomed if enemy BB can hit your guns...And unlike other tier 10 BBs, they need only 2 shots to each turret to shut it down forever.

Recently at wargaming: "how can we make a Ship good for brawling?" "make it's turret armour crapso it wont be able to use them to long and it has to ram!" "Good idea"...

if takin the fire for teammates would atleast be rewarded (and no... Dreadnought and Fireproof ARE NOT rewards... they are nice to have... BUT NOT that kind of reward that would actually let you jump into the line of fire because oyu have to survive to get em... (and even then: if you didnt gete hit oftenenough  e.g. after being nearly dead and then repaired  you didnt get hit anymore) you wont get dreadnought...) AND they dont do anythign for the repair costs that go crazy in high tier (and imho contribute to the whole long range sniping and camping)

Just like Warspite:

"How do we make Warspite brawling BB?"

"Lets make its turrets so slow, that it can't track anything at short range :great: "

WG have really weird ideas of brawling.

Even Tirpitz can lolpen GK turrets too...

After turret buffs, Dunkerque turrets are strong now, very hard to knock them out.

And its armor (from the front, not broadside, obviously)?
