AFK and bad play in Ranked

I continue to lose games in Ranked because ppl are AFK or play in non-sense way

 

Just one player in Ranked make difference between win or lose

 

I suggest developers to kick out a player by Ranked battles after 3 reports for "Poor playing"

 

After 3 reports ppl start again from rank 21

reporting system is too flawed ... how we fix it is a story for another day! I doubt anyone has any real idea!

I doubt anyone would ever reach rank 1 if people had to start fresh if they got 3 reports for bad play. Because let's be honest, everyone completely [edited]up a game at times and even if you don't, there are a lot of people reporting for bad reasons.

I do not like the "plays poorly" option in general, since there are far too much "experts" around that know "everything about the game" and the reason for their stats are "bad teams".

 

AFK doesn't seem like a huge problem, I haven't encountered that much people doing it.

Sure, because we all know how responsibly the playerbase uses that report system.

Good enemy player kills you? H4X!!!111 REPORT!!!! Player doesnt follow your orders? REPORT!!! List goes on.

 

And: when checking your stats you would be stuck with Rang 21 for most of the time if this system will come.

in last ranked i encountered 1 AFK every 3 battles

 

(to ALL ppl who speak abot my stats or their stats i dont take care about any answer....they just show their stupidity, when ppl have no argouments speak about stats)

You are the leader of the score board with twice as much XP as the next highest, in a BB, with 5 kills or more, 4+ achievements listed next to your name, and after the match you get multiple notices "You have been reported".

 

This is absolutly common in this game. With your suggestion good players get punished by bad players.

If you find these players in your team you just have to up your game and play to the best of your abilities. Don't forget if you come top you don't lose a star. This has saved me a few times already b

Off topic: Yeah. This is an incredibly stupid system that should be fixed. At least enemy should not be able to report you by "plays poorly" and also "misbehaviour in chat" reports should be ignored at least if the player in question hasn't posted once in the public chat.

The only thing that needs curing is the level of stupid by some players in ranked battles. Oh, and the mm. Last night I was in three games where the enemy team had a bb and we had none. Couple bad mm with a few idiots in your team who don't know why they're playing ranked and you have a recipe for disaster. In ranked battles I would expect the mm to be spot on - I mean, who has the time in ranked battles to wait for the odds to be in your favour before your ship even starts moving. Days of bad luck with the mm can set you back a lot of stars, and it's not like you then get days of good luck thereafter. One step forward, two steps back.

To OP: of course people look at your stats.These are the only way for them to get some idea about whether you're a whining good player or a whining baddie. These are, in fact, how they can check what rank you play.

And, sorry to say that, you don't seem like a player that regularly helps his team win. A winrate like yours at rank 15 suggest that all these AFKers and bad players are the main reason you even advanced at all. Believe me when I say - it was a breeze at these ranks. At tier 10 you will (well, if you ever get there) witness a sudden skill spike with MUCH less AFKers. And I'm sure you'll still blame bad teammates for 80% of your defeats but the thing is - you'll miss the easy environment of previous ranks where people can just sail around, shoot things gleefully and actually win games like that provided they know a bit about aiming and dodging return fire.

I'm sure if I somehow manage to improve my play enough to get to rank 5, I'll miss the 6-10 bracket too...

Well, the last two games of the evening I watched two players in our team yolo straight into the middle of the enemy within minutes and die, the one guy laughed and the other basically just said nothing. So, two players deliberately throwing their ship away in ranked battles and nothing happens to them, even when reported. How do we prove they're trolls? This is totally unacceptable in ranked battles and sanction severity should be stepped up 10 notches or so.

 

I am sick and tired of working hard to win matches only to have players like this chuck away any progress I've made in a moment of nastiness.

Wg must do someting drastick to get rid of cowards and afkers in ranked the ammount of them is ridicules. just got 2 crusiers afk in battle and our only dd go crusing around map

Not to even mention ppl that ruin games for they team on purpose just by going other way and let themself get killed

Reporting bad players dont work. They need something else to fix the bad players in ranked.

 

looking of all the times I get bad mouthing and loss of karma, I know I have have been reported many many times. The border between getting and losing karma is very narrow in many games. I have been reported mostly for hacking (aim-bot) because I kill a player early, or citadel him. But I have also been reported by players for camping and blue surfing. However, those last are when players first use minimap when they die, and see I am a place they think is wrong at that time, not figuring I may have been moving around or killing the enemies that were there. I also get reported by player dying when I am the closest at the time they die. I think they get frustrated and angry over time when their ship get destroyed, and want to punish for that. I play too agressive, and often rush, so I have to turn, there as I often have back to enemy. Most time I get reported for bad play I am top player on team, go figure.

I don't care anymore. Gave up ranked this season again. IMO it's just a gambling game and nothing more. If you're not lucky in the casino (like I am). Just don't bother. Do the first couple of battles to collect some flags but stop @ rank 14-15 is my advice. It's a waste of your time. If lady luck is not onyour side in life you'll always (OK 99% of the cases) finfd yourself at the side with the slow loaders (Ranked is decided (also in 99% of the cases for that matter) in the first 3 minutes of the game), the campers and the incompetent CV players. Your won skill doesn't matter. In Random your skill will at least add something to the overall performance but not in ranked when having to play with complete noobs. I did about 30 matches. Still stuck at rank 14. Try as hard to play my role but I get the lousy teams every time. Yeah: I screwed up too. But only in 1 or 2 matches... F.e. when playing a DD (My least unsuccesfull ship) the cruisers and BB's are always hiding behind islands or running to the opposite direction from where it matters and (if present) my CV is sending his (her) planes across the map border to vainly search out the enemy CV instead of scouting the caps for me. Always the same, boring, wet and star losing result. I can remember only 2 or 3 actually exciting ranked battles. And I didn't actually win all of these...

 

So: if you don't have luck in dice games, don't play ranked.

What puzzles me the most is the ships people bring to ranked battles. Why do they think that ships that are incredibly weak in random battles will do well in ranked battles?

So: if you don't have luck in dice games, don't play ranked.

 

if you are skilled player you will in most cases retain star when your team is bad. if you are among players with similar skill then you can expect much harder progression through ranks.

If you are a good player your team can lose and you can keep your star but most of the times the dds who can easily cap get more xp than you with less hits/kills, other reason why we see so many dds in ranked.

 

Also at this stage even the worst players are somehow ranking up and if you are so lucky to have them in your team you are easily doomed.

 

I am having fun anyway and I don't really care of the rank but if you do at this point unless you are at ranks 3-2 fighting for 1 my advice is to give up and stop your nightmares
