I'll take any Japanese Heavy Cruiser.  Not only do those things look amazing but they were totally awesome in real life.  Amazingly fast, well armoured, durable and very hard hitting.  Fantastic vessels.

This is the IJN Chikuma which was sunk at the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October 1944:

The Littorio-class and Italian ships in general. Mainly for how how well they look and their good stats (at least on paper) Mussolini was such a n00b... with a navy the kind he had at his disposal, the British could have been in a lot more trouble.

Of course, my favourite warship is USS Enterprise or "big E" from WWII.She was single one carrier in Pacific ocean wich can stay Japanese in way to Australia, near Solomon islands. She received lot of battle stars- more than best america battleship in 17. century- USS Constitution. She was three times modernized. An so here is photo:

Admiral Graf Spee of course and Tirpitz/Bismarck. Vittorio Veneto is interesting too.

Nundam Vittorio Veneto is a ship name but it was a Littorio class battleship, like Giulio Cesare or Caio Dullio

IJN Fuso

And why ..because :

It is beautiful ship...battleship with 6 turrets. But history of this ship is not so happy.

Fusō (扶桑?, a classical name for Japan) was the lead ship of the two Fusō-class dreadnought battleships built for the Imperial Japanese Navy. Launched in 1914 and commissioned in 1915, she initially patrolled off the coast of China, playing no part in World War I. In 1923, she assisted survivors of the Great Kanto Earthquake.

Fusō was modernized in 1930–35 and again in 1937–41, with improvements to her armor and machinery and a rebuilt superstructure in the pagoda mast style. With only 14-inch guns, she was outclassed by other Japanese battleships at the beginning of World War II, and played auxiliary roles for most of the war.

Fusō was part of Vice-Admiral Shōji Nishimura's Southern Force at the Battle of Leyte Gulf. She was sunk in the early hours of 25 October 1944 by torpedoes and naval gunfire during the Battle of Surigao Strait. Some reports claimed that Fusō broke in half, and that both halves remained afloat and burning for an hour, but according to survivors' accounts, the ship sank after 40 minutes of flooding. Of the few dozen crewmen who escaped, only 10 survived to return to Japan

Actually in the Battle of the Surigao strait both Fuso and Yamashiro were destroyed and the latter was the flagship of admiral Nishimura Shoji. There were only 10 survivors from Yamashiro as the ship was under very heavy gunfire. In addition, the US picked just few survivors. Bad weather and strong currents did not make the rescue action any easier.

When it comes to the crew of Fuso the accounts vary. For sure the ship was hit by a torpedo, exploded and broke in two with many crew members surviving so far. Both pieces of the wreck sank eventually. The Japanese destroyer sent to pick up survivors was sunk not long afterwards with great loss of life, taking with her all of the Fuso`s survivors. As for the rest of the crew, they did not make it although there are accounts suggesting that few crewmen managed to swim to the shore and survive despite all odds.

Admiral Hipper. ; )
Aye Ma'am  :honoring: , for me too, but with the name "Prinz Eugen" please.
FYI: The only german heavy surface vessel, which survived INTACT the WW II. Unfortunately the American Navy played a little "let's have an atomic influence on this" with it    ... It would have been a nice piece for a museum.

Ehem...

Niszczyciel_xD is this correct with the RGM-114 Tomahawk in the description? I thought the Tomahawk is a cruise missle of the 80's ... there is something wrong with the marks.

The CB-1 had no helicopters...  it was decommissioned in Feb. 1947... btw. It looks like a Scharnhorst-Class with 12" main guns  :honoring:
