Since it has happened two times now where other ships were involved 100% of the time, the other ships are clearly to blame. Remove other ships. Translation-I like to tunnel vision a lot, and i tend to ram or shoot friendlies because i have zero situational awareness, ie i deserve to be pink. As Kehettifer ironically said - you're not alone on the map. And you really should not use zoom vision all the time. You should look on the map, look for torpedo and islands too. I do FF too but it happen once on... 300 battles? or even less. Nobody cares about being pink anymore. Being pink has had a huge devaluation. Turning pink today simply doesn't justify open a threat about it. It means nothing anymore. That is true too. At first I was starting a battle with "hi pinki winky". Now it is not funny anymore and since 90% of games has 1 pink ship it is just a normal thing.

albinbino Players 662 posts 11,080 battles Report post #17 Posted June 24, 2016 I accidentally torped friendly ships, shot friendly ships on several occasions, even destroyed our DD once with my torps, but never turned pink. Use them both between reloads and you'll notice friendlies in your line of fire each and every time. Not true. When someone is plastered to your side the minimap does not show them. The 2 icons merge and only yours can be seen. I've also got 'don't fire at your allies' when there were no allies near. At either end. aboch Beta Tester 452 posts 8,129 battles Report post #24 Posted June 24, 2016 Somehow, i've never turned pink. It is possible then... i have gotten the "dont fire at your allies" 2 times in 1800 battles so i dont see a big problem for me atleast. I zoom out after every shot i shoot with the exception in the american dd at times. I have over 3600 battles and was not pink for that time once like you guys, until suddenly a Nürnberg sailed from relativly far into 2 plane dropped torpedos. Maybe his steering was hit in the fight with that battleship, no idea. Trying to help him out i sunk the battleship with the plane but absolutly unlucky our ship just sailed about straight into my torps and the result was me getting pink and selfdestroyed. I guess i got the damage too i made to the Nürnberg. So believe me, it can happen even to very good, experienced team players that try to make everything right. It was the frst time i was pink and hopefully the last time. I took me 15 or so battles to get to normal color back. Long story short, never ever think a given situation can not happen to you too, because it obviously can!
Lin3 Players 746 posts Report post #25 Posted June 24, 2016 abit frustrating when zoomed in binocular view, and another ship sails wayy to close, you hit and land a fire on them.! second time this happen. - remove fire % chance on friendly ships or just remove it from being able to happen. You see that button towards the top right of your keyboard, the one with a "+" above an "=". The next time you're in battle, press shift and that button together a few times until your mini map is as big as it's going to get. Then, all you need to do is keep an eye on your mini-map, which you should be doing anyway to plan your next move and respond to what's going on in the battle. When your ship icon merges with another friendly icon; zoom out so that you can see what you need to do to avoid embarrassing situations like firing on your team mate, taking damage from him, or coming to a grinding halt by ramming each other.
