I know some youtubers asked about it, but they were told there wasn't any older client as well. Always record the games you really want to keep. I've myself taken backups since last autumn but don't have that much of upload bandwidth so even with use of extreme data compression softwares (WinZip is low compression compared to them) transfer would take some time. I'm not even sure the devs themselves can for that matter... If they can't afford storage space to keep archive of older clients then things would be indeed bad.
