Ranked battle vunerable to traitor in team.

I just played a game where I had a very strong feeling that we had a traitor in the game. Might have been the same guy that sucked in the previous game, could also have been somebody else.

Enemy team knew exactly where my CV was going, my planes were going and enemy ships were going, it was very obvious.

This might happen at night when the player base is very low, about 5000 to 2000 people.

I suspect a fake account of rank level 15 is used to try and implement a traitor in the enemy team, since level 15 cannot loose it's rank and is paired with levels 15 to level 11, many ranks seem to be affected by this possibly traitor.

*** Additional Information ***:

I am now convinced that this is indeed true:

I just inspected the stats for the spy player and it's win rate for ranked is 0%. It's random battle win rate is 100%. So one has to look carefull at only the ranked battle win rate.

First game:

The first game I played with that specific player I noticed he didn't protect the battleship, I pointed this bluntly out to the entire team, he didn't react, didn't change course nothing.

Even more weird, enemy planes seemed to back off as soon as I told this too our team, as if spy said: "don't attack now it's too obvious he on too me"

Very suspicious.

Later he also did not defend my carrier that was under attack from a kiev.

The end result was quite amazing: the entire team get whiped out in last then 3 minutes or so.

Second game:

This is when I completely noticed CV immediatly located my CV with his saipan torpedo bombers.

I also noticed his team immediatly going towards his carrier since my planes where enroute.

This is the game that convinced me that this is real.

I pointed this out to the team and the guy I suspected of being a spy. (Sucks how the MM teams me up with losers from previous game).

Now he started defending my carrier as to conceil his true intentions, it did not convince me at all, I am on to him for sure, the stats for that specific player basically proof it too or he sucks real bad.

His current ranked win rate is below 25% ?!

*** Further information ***:

I looked at scoreboard, no obvious connection between suspected spy and enemy team, players were different. This still leaves the possibility of a "gang" of players, trying to gang up like this.

Or this player just sucks bad lol. I didn't really "command" the team as I did in previous games... getting tired so... perhaps it's time to work on benson/shots for arp harugana...

For now take this thread with a grain of salt, will have to find harder/further evidence to connect the dots ! =D

*** Recommendations ***:

Recommendation could be to avoid placing level 15 ranks with higher ranks like level 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 and so forth.

This should prevent these "fake accounts" from functioning as spies/traitors on the other team !

Yes that's the interesting part with 3000+ games under my belt I notice things real fast when it's out of the ordinary, or this is how rank level 11+ is played ! ;)

Well, now that there's an actual ship for a reward (albeit when playing ranked until you've gone insane) I wouldn't be surprised if some people would indeed try the odd 't-22sr rampage' trick. It's perfectly possible so it will probably happen somewhere. Problem is, with all these innuendos your not going to make a dent for a impression. I suppose a replay just happened not to get recorded this single one time?

What I notice is that even with 1000 hours in a game you still can be completely clueless about the basics of it and resort to calling people cheats and hackers with no substantial evidence. It shows that even if you fail hard you can reach anything through dumb luck. It would almost be inspiring if you were able or even willing to ever learn and get better instead of spewing so much nonsense onto the forums that it completely eroded any chance of you ever being taking seriously.

How does he get into your rank 15 match with no wins? There are no players with 100% winrate in random with enough battles played to unlock above tier 2.

First game:

The first game I played with that specific player I noticed he didn't protect the battleship, I pointed this bluntly out to the entire team, he didn't react, didn't change course nothing.

Very suspicious.

More like very paranoid.

Second game:

Probably because ranked is the most formulaic mode in the entire game.

Now he started defending my carrier as to conceil his true intentions, it did not convince me at all, I am on to him for sure, the stats for that specific player basically proof it too or he sucks real bad.

The paranoia thickens.

You just said 0%

Paranoia at its finest.

How about any actual (non anecdotal) evidence?

This should prevent these "fake accounts" from functioning as spies/traitors on the other team !

Faking accounts? With the amount of time it takes to get to the relevant tiers, having the ships that you need and actually getting to rank 15 and to then cross your fingers that you get into the same game, let alone on the right team and then hope that your team can actually win, which would still not be a certainty, I'd actually be impressed at the amount of work someone would be willing to do to be lazy and not improve.

To save a wall of mis-information, why not post a replay for others to make a more balanced opinion rather than your fanciful ramblings. Ah, you require an audience........

Skybuck......i get the feeling you are very young in real life so i will be nice.

WG has introduced a feature to ranked that if you are a good player at heart and play really really good, you dont lose a star when on losing team. Unfortunately it doesnt apply to you as we all know how "good" of a player you are .

You should play Town of Salem. you would make a great Jester... and that not just because of the name of the role.

Yes, if we consider the AFKs as traitors. Because the teams are smaller, having an AFK is decisive.

I have the replay stored, don't worry about that.

But for now I am too scared to post it. All you will see is a team losing real fast, and a player playing really bad.

If I post the evidence now, the players might start hiding, or stop with it.

So first I must collect more data/evidence ! ;) =D

Also WG can do it's own spying on people ! ;) =D

I am also not yet fully convinced that this is real, it were just 2 games where I noticed it, only today I reached rank level 11, so it could be that those players at those ranks just play differently.

2 replays proves nothing statistically, so must collect more replays !

Just let this thread be a warning and keep your eyes open ! ;) =D

Ok please collect more replays. Word has it, that for claims like this to be taken seriously by WG, you must collect at least a sample of 1500 replays so best get to it.

Be as vigilant as possible during your battles. Remember, you are our eyes on the seas now so monitor things to perfection. We'll be awaiting your findings over here.

How exactly did this spy communicate the information to the enemy team? The opponents are random, you know.

I have to admit it does sound kinda exciting, being a spy on the enemy team. I'd love to give that a go sometime. Maybe a new gamemode? Could have potential. Nobody trusting eachother, all ready to torpedo the ship sailing next to you..wow! Or did I just describe a typical random battle?
