GioIonutz Players 245 posts 13,478 battles Report post #1 Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) Tonight I'm playing with a few friends of mine and we've met these two "players" into a battle. One of them with the saipan [edited] and the other one in a amagi [edited] being in a division. The CV wasn't even taking out his fighters and was just playing only with the torpedo bombers, even if we were telling him to support us, no one was answering. After this I checked both profiles and its impossible that a player have all the premium ships and the other one has the same premium ships. I was thinking if they are some BOTS or dunno... can't find an answer myself. GioIonutz Players 245 posts 13,478 battles Report post #3 Posted June 17, 2016 It's just bad players with deep pockets, nothing extraordinary at all about that. I don't see this everyday... maybe there exists an program to use these players? Is their accounts old enough to have all that premium ships that aren't even available anymore? robihr Players 3,168 posts 9,352 battles Report post #4 Posted June 17, 2016 bots with premium ships is rather stupid cause if they get banned it is just waste of money... stupid players doing stupid things is much more plausible explanation.
pulpgamer_zd Players 49 posts 5,892 battles Report post #5 Posted June 17, 2016 Interesting. As you said they almost have all premium ships but their stats are really bad and it looks like they played reasonable number of battles. On the other hand I don't think that they are bots I mean come on even ıf they stay AFK at all games that they played, their WR would be better than the current ones. [SCRUB] AgarwaenME Beta Tester 4,811 posts 13,808 battles Report post #6 Posted June 17, 2016 So, you're suggesting they have hacked the store? The payment systems? The database servers? No, that's an absurd claim (nor are any of their ships particularly old or rare as such). And how on earth would it be "impossible" for two accounts to have the same premium ships? Here's a hint, it's not impossible at all. Could they be using a bot to run those accounts? Could it even be just one person dualboxing incredibly badly? Maybe. But there's no way using a bot to run those accounts would magicly make those ships turn up in your port. All you can say from that, that just like 2 or 3 person divisions can let you win a lot of games, having two incredibly poor players in one will cause an amazing amount of losses (and I've seen people with worse stats at better WR which just shows how similarly skilled players in divisions multiply their effect on games).
[RONIN] 22cm Beta Tester 6,377 posts 36,662 battles Report post #7 Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) I have almost all the premium ships (minus 2 of them I think), because I am a ship collector. But I also collect regular ships, I have arround 60 port slots. The bad thing is that I can not play all the 60 ships at least once during a week. I try to play each ship at least one month, though. warsinger2 Players 261 posts 3,504 battles Report post #10 Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) You know there is this super secret concept of money, having a job (or simple being rich) and spending the money on stuff you like, despite yourself being bad at it....Every single ship those players own was on sale within the last 6-8 weeks so yeah TOTALLY HAX it is absolutely impossible that they just .....BOUGHT those ships. People have pledged thousands of Dollars on Star Citizen on stuff that is nothing more than mere concept art. People do seemingly irrational things all the time. I thought the concept of money was understood in this day and age..... Yesterday my neighbor threw a steak on his grill, HAX he does not own cattle, where did the beef come from??? He must have some connection to someone important.... Edited June 17, 2016 by warsinger2

TheCinC Quality Poster 1,695 posts 9,500 battles Report post #12 Posted June 17, 2016 As others said, probably people with deep pockets. The number of games is not awe inspiring, they have not specialized in anything, only two carriers, which are hard to play. Also pretty sure naming people and accusing them of cheating is against forum rules.

Loonsbro Beta Tester 76 posts Report post #14 Posted June 17, 2016 As has been pointed out numerous times above, they used this strange concept called Money to buy them They both also have normal ships it's not as though they only have premium stuff. One question though (and i could be wrong) but was there not a restriction on buying the Saipan that you had to have played x number of battles in a tier 5 or above Carrier before you could buy it? Because the one that has a Saipan has only played a 1 battle in the Langly which is only a tier 4?

Either for media relations, or just on two semi-public computers in a store somewhere. Well that's what I was thinking about. Of course there are players playing bad and maybe having a few premium ships, but its just my first time that I see ALL OF THEM in 1 account. Could be some promotional accounts as gr0pah said... Their names are also the same (making me think that it could be a couple or best friends), both of them spent atleast 1000$. Someone I play with has practically all of the premiums (and is pretty good), there's nothing wrong with that. Your friend is pretty good, these guys can't even do 20k of avg damage in total... which is hard that in 800 games you can't increase it a bit. Maybe even a husband wife, husband husband or wife wife, brother brother, sister sister or brother sister, uncle aunt, grandman grandpa , or just best friends team. In other words, impossible to know exactly and we can only speculate.
