[EURO] Lemasive Players 506 posts 12,499 battles Report post #1 Posted June 9, 2016 If your enemies are skilled, are almost 100% the BB. The BB is the only class that needs its enemies to make a mistake to be good, it needs to hit ships in the side even tho you can ofc do some damage in other ways. It can never choose its fight, it can almost always be avoided if you are skilled and has almost no defence against anyone even tho some DD might say the mighty secondaries are evil. What do you think is the worst class to play vs good enemies?

That is what works so well in this game, four different ship classes and different nations to experiment with to find the ships you enjoy playing. You have to rank it overall, not just that some have merits. In a random or ranked battle, what ship needs the most help and will have the hardest time if the enemies are good. BBs are all about punishing mistakes done by the enemy, if there are none they become almost useless. a CV player might have a hard time aswell if ships actually defend eachother and make sure to have a good spread. The DD can choose every encounter, strike where it wants the only real counter is the CV that can absolutley crush any DD if they are skilled enough. The Cruiser is the most versatile of all, and have no real weakness and no real strengths this is by far the most forgiving class to play

But since CAs were nerfed (HE and fire mechanics changed after CBT) ; DDs were nerfed (Tier8-10 IJN) and CVs were nerfed (AA Buff, ...) BB should be the easiest class to play since all others got more and more challenging.

[TSSHI] Kazomir Players 1,566 posts Report post #18 Posted June 9, 2016 Are you daft, I am asking what class is the hardest to play vs skilled opponents not the easiest overall.. IJN DDs. Especially lately. Carriers, buffed hydro and radars, gunboats by the dozen, and if players use their wasd hacks they cant do a thing.
[TSSHI] Kazomir Players 1,566 posts Report post #19 Posted June 9, 2016 (edited) [edited] Completely untrue. BBs have massive range and can chose targets by the dozen. If one player is evading you you can easily switch to another. Whereas IJN DDs for example have lots of sneaking about and maneuvering to do if they hope to do a decent drop, which can be for naught if his target slightly changes course. Or a plane flies by. Or if someone uses radar. You seem to think BBs are hard to play, which they are not. Edited June 10, 2016 by BigBadVuk

BBs are the only class that can be in the top 3 in exp for the Team with 7 Hits and 3 citadels ,-))) (happened in my warspite on Ocean yesterday vs T8 enemys ,-))

kennydbt Players 308 posts 7,857 battles Report post #22 Posted June 9, 2016 it all depends on how you play the game. if you a DD and rush for the cap and do not use smoke then your dead. if you a BB that hinds all game and long range but cannot hit anything. and so on
Kikkeliina Players 29 posts 6,112 battles Report post #23 Posted June 9, 2016 Carriers feel bit pointless nowdays, mainly playing them when having sandwich or something. Enemy skill or lack of it doesn't matter much when wall of AA comes from ships. Guess shouldn't complain since battleship is my favorite class but still, bit silly. Wonder if Yamato would be still sailing if her crew had moaned on forums about OP US cv's? Maybe they would have rushed some Naval Treaty Update 1.9.45 and tuned down carriers :p
