Catch your self on wargaming how is that anyway to treat your player base. It is not like you had more than a month to spend diamonds as soon as you get them. The most expensive treasure was what, like 450 diamonds? Its a bit sad that people didnt get to spend their diamonds, but its not like you didnt have the opportunity to do so for a whole month.. If you can earn diamonds to the last second give players time to spend them please. A few days is all it needs. The whole damn world operates to timelines. You can't apply to uni if the window has closed. What failures is that on the player's part? Not being able to look at the main page because he had other things to do? Yeah sure, just because you don't have a life outside of the game doesn't mean others are like that. The failure here seems to be the lack of due prior notice. Ie: notifying people a week or so in advance that there is a deadline after which diamonds can't be spent anymore. For some people, no, 38 days was not enough because they were amassing diamonds for a grand-slam buy-off before the deadline. That's what I was planning, but my RL commitments made so that I managed to collect a whopping 140 diamonds in the duration, so when I realised I was never gonna get any more, I spent 100. If I had waited till today (since yesterday I didn't get to check the homepage...) I would have been screwed just as well. Summa summarum: communications failure. Thats a massive effort of 2 minutes at maximum, and modern world even allows you to take look at the mainpage while waiting for the bus or whatever. Summa summarum: communications failure. Again. They could send e-mails to people, but maybe they don't have enough time to check their e-mails, because they have more important things to do. They could call people, but maybe they can't answer the phone, because they have more important things to do. Don't want to defend them, they have a lot of problems with communication. But they communicated, that you wont be able to spend your diamonds after the event ended. So not seeing this is purely the players fault.
