Because heck, it sure is not fun anymore. Every damn round a couple afk ships. I can't believe this is the same company that is running World of Tanks. Because you had the same damn problem over there, until you introduced the requirement to make it into the upper part of the scoreboard.

 

Are you going to check the database and nullify all the 0 point games ?? Or are you declaring this a valid strategy ? Because hell, I sure will take any shortcut.

 

Your position on modifications is that every sane player is able to judge wether a mod is bad or good. In my book, this falls into the "bad" category. Can we expect bans here too if a player has way too many 0 rounds on his account ?

 

So next time, add some "place 8th or better" requirement to such missions. Or use a point system: 8 points for a top scorer, 7 for the runner up,.... And the goal is to collect 1,000 points instead of 500 games.

 

P.S.: Still waiting for 200+50 diamonds from cc competitions.

That was my MO for some battles and some might have ended with low scores, while one ended with 7 kills. I am sorry if your ego got bruised in the process. I still don`t give a darn, since it`s MY time on the line. Don`t think I ever got 0, but might have gotten two or three 100`s.

 

So, are you REALLY going to start complaining about tiers 1 and 2?

I was thinking about the same, 500 games is too much, even if I play WoWs every day. Best way to farm these and don't be total *s*hole would probably be suicide torp runs in low tier DDs..but where is fun in that? I gave up on this mission.

 

Instead of "Play xxx games" it should be "Win xxx games" - to promote better teamplay and reward players who really try to win games.

This will be my last resort for the 500, too. But with more than one DD and probably the Emden, too (my stats with her are already abysmal ). This way I will rush through several matches at the same time and still be a "normal" contributor (compared to what you can expect on that tier) to my team. But pure afk "play" is not an option for me.

Win X games leads to more toxicity as well. To stop AFKs I did suggest "and do a minimum of 10,000 damage". Or similar. Sure you'll get unlucky sometimes but it's fairer than having AFKs on your team.

 

XP missions are the best though.

Reydan is his name if anyone wants to check him out. I don't care about dumbass rules in this forum. These players are a blight in this game and need to be banned, but we all know WG stance on this. I will get a bigger punishment than this wanker as I named him.

Well me and BadGene looked up a few of the afkers and yolo [bleeps] we met lately. Some you can just see they are botting or just going back to port. I'm talking <10k average damage with tier 8 ships and stuff like that.

As I said in the general GNB thread: Absolutely disgusting behaviour. And I'm also blaming WG for this, they could've learned from the missions in WoT, where they had to implement a "top 10" rule, because the missions influenced the game too much.

The WoWs devs are hard-learning apparently.

I know one April 30th registered player with now 290 matches in German cruisers up to Königsberg with average damage of mighty 2k.

From play I would it's some bot playing:

Propablyfully straight forward from spawn and failing to even properly hit enemies no matter how close they are.

Wtih 10% survival rate in Königsberg.

 

Kinda suspect highest damage happened when some enemy let himself be overrun...

1. They are honestly there as part of the "grind", aka being new - which is a problem from the start, as I should be in separate MM table, as part of the "anti sealclubbing" measures (which implies that nobody in my games is a honest newbie) - even if they aren`t, one or two games until they go up a tier and 5 more to get out of my MM range won`t kill them - not a guarantee I will be in their team in all 7 games anyway, just as it is utopic to think we`ll be even in the same game - and chances they get to be in the other team too.

 

2. They are doing the same thing, in which case it`s irrelevant.

 

3. They are sealclubbers, in which case they should know better and kinda shouldn`t be there - nobody cares or should care about their feelings.

They should consider themselves lucky I DO spend an effort if a fast win is in the books and not just go straight and die, without shooting - that would be more efficient for me, or I don`t afk. But no, when it comes to MY goals and MY time, everyone else`s opinion equals zero. I saw a black pirate flag on a tier 2 once, then 3 games later on a tier 1. So don`t come in here and pretend everyone else is innocent.

Actually, anything which disrupts the enjoyment of others ( and was not intended by developers ) breaks EULA. So, rushing in to die ( knowingly ) and screwing over your team might actually be 'against the rules' as well as being a [edited]move.

I`m not suiciding - I am going more or less in a straight line, using my guns. Nothing in the EULA asks me to do anything extra  I`m just being a bad player in the tiers which are by default full of bad players.
