Localisation issue?

 

Starting the launcher it presented me (after a short Launcher-Update) the russian Version, loading Patch 0.5.6.

After switching to the english localisation a localisation package was loaded, with the launcher restarting, now presenting the english version, loading patch 0.5.5.

 

Translation issue? "We give a crapabout it" issue? Or a real problem?

 

Just to be sure, i decided to load the "russian" patch and switch localisation after this. better load an 55MB localisation-pack at the end, than loading the 10GB client again...

There is a problem with CVs, one of the squadron (DB or TB) always report being under attack, throughout the whole game, from the minute they start to minute they land. IJN and USN, alson on Saipan.

Today when me and my friend tried to play division battle the game locked us in port. Division panel was showing us being in battle but ships remained in ready to battle status, all the buttons on division panel stopped working so all we could do is to wait untill battle ends.

Is suicide possible? And that gets you the pink teamkill mark??

I was playing the Colorado and was under attack by aircraft and battleships when I died. Suddenly I get this message that I teamkilled someone. In the score after the match It said that I had killed myself.

so killing planes of an allied carrier is same as dealing team damage?

also to add, i got the message of team damage around the end of match, and not at the start when i killed those planes.

yeah it saying the same thing to me as in error cannot connect to the public test server, invalid email or password, but i cant get on the live server with no problem so anyone know why this is WG are you fixing this whats going on?.

you're right. Must have accidentally clicked the same moment the bombs from the planes where hitting, lots of things happening at the same time.

game client crashed when I switched torpedo mode to turret mode.

There seems something wrong with the settings-screen. I can't change anything. I can make the change but if I return to the game it hasn't changed and when I look at the settings it just has the settings before I changed it. After all that I started a game and nothing worked, I could press w but the engine didn't start, the screen indicated at I was pressing the W but nothing happened, also with all the other key. So I left the game restarted the program and went to the settings where all the Video setting were empty. very strange.....

Same "Critical error message" in the Update Launcher here and Stops the Update Process... Any Feedback from WarGaming ?

ok Solution that works for me :

1. Close the launcher

2. Simply manually delete all the files in the C:\Games\WOWS_PublicTest\Update folder

3. ReOpen the WOWS PublicTest Launcher and all the update should be fine...

Starting the game looks fine, after a view moments, nothing works, I can control all the Views, but not the ship. Ship's position isn't shown correct, can't fire. Restarted game a few times, nothing changed. Yesterday evening everything works perfect.

Ahoy,

for some reason im not able to alter the keyassignments in my settingsscreen.

Some choices can be made, but are not saved after leaving. Others are invisible, dropdown-menues are empty, too.

The armament on my actionpanel is totally unassingned, so im unable to change artillery-ammunitiontype or switch to torpedouse.

Hardwaredrivers have all been updatet and no errormessage is visible ingame.

I would love to take part testing the 0.5.6-version just because of the fun i had testing 0.5.5,

but up till now, its useless to try.

starte4d a game today on Konigsberg on Estuary map (decided to grind up and test Hipper) and got stuck at loading screen, could hear parts of battle in background, had to force restart pc and on log in to game was straight back to loading screen again with some dead ships this time heard my own ship get torpedoed, shot and destroyed and the match ending but still on loading screen shown and had to force restart pc again.

Bug Report 1:

0.5.6 still cant remember some of my keyboard keys.

everytime i start the game i have to first renew some control key´s.

reverse trottle key

screen aspect ratio option

After setting everything correct and its working in the current game session and i exit the game,and start again some control keys are gone,and also the aspect ratio is always wrong set to 5:4 or auto, insteed 4:3 .

starting wows with write protected preferences.ini result in error popup or no game start.

This problem started with v. 0.5.5,and is still part of the game at 0.5.6 .(

Hope this will be solved at the 0.5.6 release.

Bug Report 2:

"6. sense" (the icon info when spottet) has some problems to:

sometimes it shows me im spottet but there is no enemy ship and no plane around me which could spot me.

also:

it takes sometimes verry long time to go off.

U guys clearly said that if i was in TOP 1 on the losssing side in ranked i was gona keep my star-.... WELL WOOPDIE FKIN DOO  i lost my star even tho is was N1 on  the losing side with 30% more exp then the 2nd one ..  Why didn't i keep my star

I noticed a few things.

* When trying to zoom out a level on the scope, quite often it jumps two and even three steps at a time instead of only one. Zooming in seems to work just fine.

* There is a bunch of keybindings that doesn't work correctly, See below.

 

I use the following setup for movement. And it resets every time you load the game. Looking in the preferences.xml file, all keys are saved correctly, just reset at game load.

The following keys can NOT be binded correctly as I've found.

* Numpad Number 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9 Keys.

* Numpad- (Track Object)

* Right Arrow (Designating Target)

* Left Arrow (Hide Interface)

 

These Keys works fine.

* Arrow Up (Map), Arrow Down (Score Screen)

* Numpad 0 (Track after Fire), Numpad 4 ( Hard to port)

* Numpad * (Target), Numpad + (artillery view).
