Since the XP missions do include premium (thanks for the corrections BTW) unless they go over 5K should be fairly doable with that.

Those without premium will be struggling if it goes much higher, though, which seems rather ill thought out to me. 3K+ base is a seriously hard carry ... We shall see, I guess.

Indeed. In 900 games I only ever had one 3k+ match. Might be because I am not pushing for high tier games, but I found those to be considerably lacking in enjoyment. Even the 2k+ matches are rare occurences for me, but they are achievable. So if we go beyond the current XP mission I'll seriously need that week of premium time from the reward chests to do so.

If it does have a 3k xp (and then a 3250!) It should be do-able for those with premium (2k and 2167 base respectively). For those without premium that's a hard carry to achieve

No offence, but for me the 2.500 xp is already a major achievement (got to 1800+ xp).

I'm not that good and I hardly play DDs (apparently the best class for it), so that's basically 4 missions out for me (1 already, 3 more probably) unless I'm extremly lucky.

And I don't think I am the only one in this situation.

A reasonable game in a high tier cruiser (2+ kills, 60k+ damage) with a shared cap is already around 1700+ base XP.

If you are not able to do that, sorry, bad luck for you.

These are not insta-win events and would be pretty boring if they were.

High Tier; 2 kill with adequate damage; capping = 1700

Ok, got it. Now do the same in mid or low tier. Not everyone has high tier ships or is willing to put up with the gameplay in those matches. Not to mention that without premium this is still very far away from the XP needed. If you absolutly need premium time to have an acceptable chance to fullfill those missions, we are treading awefully close to the pay to win area.

Never expected to "win" that mission, just saying that it isn't as easy for everybody as some seem to think it is. :P

But you don't "absolutely need premium time".  Poor players might.  People only using tier 2 might.  But does the only way to do it require premium time?  No.

Regarding the missions:

That quote above is from the german Community Coordinator Sehales. Translated it means that the "finished" missions are working as intended. They will show you the missions from week to week but you will get the diamonds on day one of week X if you could finish the missions before Week X started.

Wow, that's really a strange way to set up the missions.

But I'm happy because the battle that got me the 2500XP mission of the first week will get my missions fulfilled until 4000XP (2724*1.5 premium bonus=4086).

Interesting. According to my GNB stat tracking I already completed all the week #2 missions and I haven't even played a single game today.

I tried to read back on this enormous forum but couldn't see this mentioned. I happened to receive 20 diamonds for the Week 2 mission "Win 20 battles". The only problem is that since week 2 missions were announced I haven't even logged into the game at all! How is it possible? Has anybody else noticed it? not that I'm not thankful enough for this "gift"  but just curious how it could have happened....

Regarding the missions for week 2 - don't worry, it is actually working as intended. However we'll take all the feedback into consideration for the next edition of the event in the future (if we will hold another one that is, can't confirm or deny anything). We'll also include such things in the future main announcements (if events requiring such announcements will take place).

The 100.000 XP mission is RESET your progress , that's why it's a separate category (reset occurs every Monday). This means it's a really hard mission, which requires a ottal of 400.000 XP earned in 4 batches across 4 weeks. You cannot earn, let's say 200.000 in week 1 and score two completions of the mission.

The "week 1", "week 2" and so on missions feed off of one database of player progress. This was put in place to reward players who would spend a lot of time playing in 1 or 2 weeks and then if there is a week they don't take part in. Some variables change (tier, type of ship), but if someone was active on other fields than just the one mentioned in the weekly mission - then they get some additional points the following week. Generally, it feels to be a more comfortable solution, doesn't it?

We hope that this mechanic will be appreciated, especially by more casual players, and we'll be gathering your feedback on it. We'll compare tihs to previous project's mechanic of only missions that reset and we'll see what we'll do in the future based on that :)

And don't worry, nobody will get any diamonds taken away, especially if they got spent already. This would not be cool on our side. :aqua:

Thanks for the clarification. The way the seperate week missions are handled is actually really convenient so thanks for that!

Agreed with Aotearas.

Playing this morning a few rounds for the 100.000 xp and 500 battles missions, I never expected to be greeted with 4 weekly missions completed while at the office. I really, really like this solution, but it might have been comunicated a bit more clearly :)

It caused quite some posts in this thread that could have been avoided.

Personally I think I'm going to have the most trouble with the 500 battles, that comes to 125 battles/week, which is a lot, especially since I can't play 18 battles daily due to other games and social gatherings.

This is wonderfull. I hope this will be done in the future as well for other events, as this really helps in case you are lacking time to play.

So of us can be busy at times, so this is wonderfull. :medal:

well, this is nice, but if it works so, there is no difference between standard and weekly mission? Why not show them all?

I'm not going to get all the missions done either. None of the CV ones, to start with. Carrier play is a multi-tasking nightmare and I'm so bad at multi-tasking I have hold my breath to think ^^ I have no intention of inflicting that level of incompetence on my teams.

I think most of us have to accept that getting everything completed is unlikely and in any case if it was a total cake-walk it wouldn't be worth doing in the first place.

But you don't "absolutely need premium time".  Poor players might.  People only using tier 2 might.  But does the only way to do it require premium time?  No.

Ok... let me rephrase that a bit. I'll raise the drama quite a bit, so please don't assume that I am actually that concerned, I just want to make an example. If I miss out on a few diamonds, so be it. And I already laid out a plan just in case I do need premium time.

Let's assume we had a mission "perform twelve kills in one battle". it is near impossible to achieve but theoretically it can be done. Now to help out, we can buy ammunition that will guarantee a kill on each hit for a certain amount of money. To make sure that no other player is in the match with the same ammo to steal our kills, we can also buy a consumable that will make us the sole player on our team.

Every player can score a perfect match without the need to pay anything. You don't "absolutely need the god ammo and the sole player module". Do others have it harder then the one who paid a fee for this advantage? Of course, but they still have a one in a billion chance to do the same as the one who paid.

Would you still consider this fair? Where is the line that you are willing to draw?

First one ist the Dog flag

Second is the lion flag

tbh: the second flag in black would have been better :hiding:

It is very much appreciated! Thank you very very much!

It is really helpful for casual players that have real life commitments and tight schedules!

Not sure what i'm doing wrong, but i can't seem to find the missions to do, and therefor not sure either if i joined the grand battles.

Can someone help?

You gotta feel sorry for wargaming. They just cant seem to ever get it right in peoples minds.

As its become apparent with today reset. The missions a re a blend of skill and grind!! I think this is rather perfect. If i remember correctly my Highest XP+Prem has been about 3000 so i should be ok for next week as well so lucky me.

The missions  are not supposed to be rely easy and they don't everyone to get 1000 Stones.

But this way people that can it for a week or 2 will be awarded with enough stones to at least get some of the packages as well as contribute to the goal.

I also like the fact that if someone achieved a once in a life time 3500 bace XP last week it means they will probably complete the XP goal and the 100 diamonds that they deserve. and not have to struggle to achieve it again.

Hmmm... that is really nice, but I've got one question:

Do the diamonds assigned (erm.. collected) almost automatically during week 2. are added to the main pool, too?

I mean, its great I get extra 100 or so diamonds this week (or maybe next...), but if I (we) don't have to play the extra missions this week, this way we (the community) can be low on the "main secret target of 12 mln" at the end of the event... ;)
