The amount of vaseline in this thread is too damn high. Especially after that Phelan post which i had read five times to believe what he actually wrote there. Do they really seriously learned absolutely nothing from the Project R?

I agree. Almost the same ship with a different camo begins an 'exclusive' premium one (like Emden and Dresden or Minekaze, Fujin and Kamikaze), and all are magically enthusiastic. Another evidence about how it could easily work is the ARP series.  Actually 6 premium ships (with no bonuses) +  the original ones = 8 ships with 2 models.

And more: SMS Stuttgart and SMS Stettin (Class sisters of Konigsberg) partecipated at the Jutlland Battle too! They could kill two birds with one stone! 

All happy at 0 costs. So hard to plan it as ending in GNB since beginning?. But no, too easy. Better a shi tstorm.

Keeping to ships currently in the game, we have none of the ships (German Cruisers that were at Jutland). 

Both of the Dresdens' were destroyed by Jutland, the two surviving Kolbergs' where absent, and the 4 Konigsberg 1915 (Karlsruhe in game) were not yet in commission.

 

The only Jutland ships that WG have modeled are Warspite (after refit), and Caroline (As built). Plus the German BBs which are coming soon. And their tier 4 premium BB that could be Seydlitz.

As far as I understand the issue, the 15 million diamonds miliestone was simply created because there was a bug with the counter leading to an "unexpected" jump in diamonds (a compensation for those of us who thought we had plenty of time left). That, or as a fix to let people finish the permanent missions (or possibly both). As such, I do not think there will be a new prize, but then again, maybe something will be added because of the negative feedback. Not that it matters all that much, considering we are unlikely to reach it.

Ok, u are right. I didn't know there were 2 classes of german cruisers with the same name launched so close and with a nearly overlapping operative life, i believed they were the same ships. Evidently u are more competent than me in naval technical history. No polemics, it's a real compliment. Oh, in regards to it, greetings 4 ur british technical tree proposal, i just watched it and it's really accurate. But my reasoning could work in the same way, for example about Coral Sea battle, included in GNB event. Yubari was there. She is a few used tier 4 premium and she is yet ready. Alternatively, leaving out another Katori class ship (IJN Kashima) involved, we could strongly considerate some tier 4 Tenryu class light cruisers  or even some tier 5 Kamikaze class destroyers, all present at Coral Sea battle and available to be converted in a premium commemorative version. (Naturally also Aoba,  Indianapolis, Myoko and New Orleans classes CAs, Mahan, Sims, Farragut, Mutsuki, Fubuki and Hatsuharu classes destroyers were there, just like some CVs  present in the game, but all these, as all know, are in higher tiers, and it's objectively excessive to considerate them or a premium version of them as a balanced reward in this contest). Anyway an eventual 'ad hoc' commemorative flag or similar pack could be easily pumped up after the gifting as a reward of one of them. Surely not the same thing respect the Jutland battle, but to honour it the timing is still open for WG  (1916-2016), if they want they are still in time to propose new pertinent ships until the end of the year (for example a working Caroline and/or a german corrispective).

True, it can apply to other battles as well, although they may not be as significant date wise. After all, Jutland 100 only comes around once. 

While creating a new premium for each anniversary may be impractical, it might be nice to have appropriate sales and events themed around it. So discounts on the classes of ships present in the tech tree, on appropriate premiums as well. 

 

Jutland 100 would usually warrant something Big. It is a centenary in the end, however, with the lack of RN and HF vessels in the game, I can understand why it is a little low-key, so a premium sale or two could be warranted, along with a mission. However, a little more than an expensive flag and an article is really warranted. 

 

And thanks on the tech tree ^^, I have others on other navies, though I have kept those mostly private. That RN thread has been bobbing around for a year now, and is due an update, which I have not worked on.

Hehehe 10 camos its not bad i was almost expect upgrade mission. Sunk 15 ships to get 1.000.000 credit ofc i still was hoping for ship but still for some reason i really didn't believe on that one.

I found the GNB to be a very good event. I got 3 new ships and a lot of stuff that I can use in-game just by playing the game.

I'm late to the GNB party, when does it end? When we get to 15m diamonds or at a certain date?

 

I just one a port slot, ~60 battles to go for that, not easy considering I have 570 battles in 11 months of playing

It's ended - you can now just finish the 100k XP mission, so sorry about that ;)

 

 

 

I've summarize my prizes and I get something over 6600 doublons.

It's about 25 euro.

To think more about it the event was very fair to a player. Why? The prizes was more individual and we cannot relay on community.

So I understand that the 12mln prize was that cheap.

The event must have ended at the very moment I racked up the last 5 kills I needed for a mission, but I still have enough diamonds to buy the Tachibana. What does it happen if I buy it and I already have one? Do I get the port slot and some credits instead, or just the credits?

The event ends on June 8th. You can still finish the 100XP mission and the perma missions if you have any left. But you'll need to spend the diamonds by the 8th or they will be lost.

If you buy a duplicate you will recieve the port slot and credit value of the ship, but you can only open each crate once.

well you need to make some assumptions to hold that.

only if those are true you can make the statement and  i guess for most of the players those arent true.

- you need to want the prizes

- you need to be willing to play for them

- they need to be offered only for the said prices (not beeing availible at chaeper prices)

- the prices need to be "fair/reasonable" (if you tag a 6000000 dubloones price at an item that is not availible for dublooons that item is not worth thousands of €)

 

maybe some more i just now cant think of, your monetary comparison as you stated here(and in the other topic) is not as definite as you might see it

One small question.  I have just finished the last weekly mission "100000 xp". But next to this mission ... new mission "RM4" has appeared on the web, what´s more ... marked as completed. But ...

I can´t find any reward for completion of the "RM4" mission.

 

Does anybody have any idea what the mission "RM4" is and what is its reward?  Thx in advance for your help.

It is bug. It is obvious.

I belive it is some kind of test mission for developers but when we get 12 mln and the system broke (showed 15 mln mark) more of us see that "facepalm fish".

Smith and Katori for example are gifts if you buy an Italeri pack (read that Katori will be added in a new one in the near future) and basically have no doubloon worth at all. You can sell them for credits tho.

Not sure. But i guess it is some sort of system check for the accounts that played games while the event page was "frozen". Similar missions appeared for people who won diamonds in the giveaways.

Try logging out and back in. Can't confirm, because I am out of kill and grind missions. It was stated though, that everyone still has time until the 8th to complete the missions. (apart from the weeklys)
