I'm doubtful if they have finished it though. I personally think Tone is a good tier 8 with the appropriate abilities.
[POMF] Pekoe_Darjeeling Weekend Tester 2,385 posts 10,008 battles Report post #4 Posted April 20, 2016 Nice another "Myoko" (with one less turret) in case standard one and ARP would be not enough. Now you can pay extra money to play a 3rd copy of that ship. Don't mind tat I just don't really see a point in that ship apart form training/retraining commander. Shouldn't really play similar to the Myoko though. I mean, Maya would be more of a "Myoko" with one less turret. Tone you'll have to play like an Izumo. byronicasian Players 391 posts Report post #12 Posted April 20, 2016 (edited) Sure. Hide stats and then post on forum that Tone should be played like Izumo. I'm leaving. I just can't. All turrets on the bow, thicker armor around cit armor (obviously NOT to the extent of playing it like a BB, it was a reference to the gun layout chill out). Why would Tone play at all like a Myoko? I have a feeling the following might be connected to Tone and the other aviation focused ships. Changes planned this year include gaining experience and money for support actions such as holding cap points (not de-capping but holding) and spotting enemy ships. This is exactly what such a ship would need. If that was done and the planes would be sort of like controllable scouts. Click on a point within a certain range and it flies there. Well, then it would probably work very nicely indeed. I can't imagine any team being annoyed at having such a cruiser keeping a destroyer lit up in a cap. I am afraid I am the one responsible and that whoever/whatever you used to translate played a cruel trick on you As I explicitly wrote: Každopádně k Tone, je pořád ve vývoji a objeví se, až bude odladěný a dostatečně zábavný Which translates as "In any cause Tone is still under development and it will appear, when she will be well tuned and enjoyable enough". So unfortunately no, not yet. As you probably know, she was a pretty specific ship class and while the model is kinda ready (and was already datamined ), the ship herself is not ready yet. Shall I troll? Well, I probably shan't,but... One of the main bugs is No.4 plane always taking off with major delay

I always wished the Japanese cruisers to get their spotting abilities by floatplanes rather than the radar for the US, and I rather see that instead of radar for IJN cruisers.

One of the main bugs is No.4 plane always taking off with major delay It was already reported in the last superultra-supertest build though. The AI of the 4th pilot is set up for the incorrect plane type and he needs additional time to get used to the new machine. It is possible that game engine does not support so many pilots on one deck and by default after 3rd pilot shows up on deck it assigns next one from the one tier higher plane. It is a serious issue and is the whole reason why Tone is not yet ready, do you know how long it takes for the devs to retrain a pilot for the WW2 aircraft? Problems, problems... what can you do, but wait. Sorry, could not stop myself
