Haven't played or indeed posted here, for over 6 months but was encouraged into looking at the game again after Jingle's video on the newly released Royal Navy DD. Finally, I thought, the RN is in the game! 

 

Well, seems not, April 2016 and STILL no Royal Navy? The largest and most powerful navy on the planet in the years this game is set. Way to go dragging things out Wargaming!!

 

That aside, I see the game looks the same and feels the same. I noticed that the sounds have been improved and theres teams now? Other than that, after a few games the RNG seems as bad as ever and the chat is certainly as toxic as ever! I was accused of being a 'cheater' in a game yesterday because I sank BB who was sailing round an island..... he started swearing at me, etc. and I thought "ahh, this is why I stopped playing this game..." 

 

Well, maybe see you guys in another six months!

Stopped reading after you've mentioned RN. A child can understand why RN isn't in the game yet after you explain it all to him once. Also, for someone who has so many posts, it's sad you don't know how to use the search function yet.

If your waiting for the RN before returning I would give it until Xmas or the New Year, it seems its not coming any time soon

 

n.b if you follow WG advertising and consider it a game from 1900-1950(although there are a number of ships that postdate that) the RN would only be the largest for the first 41 years. While I want the RN in the game and think WG are beyond stupid for the route they have taken its worth being factually correct,

Are there nations in this game? never noticed, I play ships I like...I would play a Luxembourg Ship if I liked it and it was balanced...I am English by the way and don't care if the RN is in or not tbh.

 

Exactly, I mean, I can understand the fact that someone wants to play with their own nation, but they shouldn't act like the whole game should be based around that nation. Also, playing the game because one bit of it would feel so wrong for me. One should like it as a whole product.

For the record, I'm not boycotting the game or anything because no RN, I have had some great fun with other ships and doubt i'd notice much difference if the flag on the stern changed. I just find it surprising that after being told last summer to expect the RN in 'Early 2016' that theyre not here yet. To me, it shows a lack of sensitivity and understanding of the subject on Wargamings part, especially as the German cruiser line has been a part of the game for some time now.

That was something that TAP spat out, from who knows what sources. It could have been true, because plans can change you know... That is exactly why they wont tell us anything, because they don't want to give false hope or miss the deadline they've set themselves. It has been stated by our CMs some time ago.

I can quickly thing of some problems that this game has which are more severe and punishing like high tier economy, MM not taking into account divisions etc etc

 

But having this overused  "NO RN IN GAEM WTF ARE U DOIN WG" is pissing me off beyond recognition....

 

Like if WG released RN all will magically dissapear and this game will be crowned the "Galactic Game 2016"

I m in your boat, I enjoy the game would like the RN(or any historical relevant naval content), but you have to do the math we have had 3 techlines in 8 months if the KM BB are next summer some time if doesnt give them very long to add the RN and I have a feeling given the low caliber guns they employed there might well also be balancing issues.

Wow, seriously? Maybe you should stay off then, it's hardly an uncommon thing to say by the sound of it (again, I havent BEEN HERE for six months Mr Angry) and the very fact that it IS such an apparently common thing to be said SURELY says that there is a point to be made?? Dont shoot the messenger, if youre sick of hearing it, PM Wargaming!!!! 

 

Oh and for the record, my Grandfather served in the Royal Navy in WW1 and survived Jutland. I happen to see it as a slight to his and other heros memories that the most influential and powerful Navy on the freaking planet pre-WW2 isnt represented in a game about pre WW2 naval warfare! 

 

I would ask any other antisocial people like the above to think before they throw their toys out off their pram, I'm SO SORRY that you had to endure the AWFUL fact that you had to have the Royal Navy mentioned again but thats hardly my fault that it does indeed be something thats mentioned often.

​It was mot aimed at you but the Trolls that say I could not be bothered to read but .....still respond with at least 5 posts.  I just wish they would stick to their language forums.

 

I suppose they would say it is because  English is the global language, I would say well that was partially due to the power of the RN. and Great Britain as a seafaring nation.
