It was really nice to be able to play with some of the society members this afternoon. Massive thanks to Bellegar and soulmask for coming along and playing some really good battles (even the losses were fun).

We saw a few other people in Mikasas in a couple of battles and even ran into creamgravy in his, which was a nice surprise.

 

I will definitely be doing this again some time, so I hope to see you all in-game soon.

Haha yeah it was great fun, we should do that more often and with more people . I also was able to collect a few nice replays

Indeed, it was a laugh,  watching ships come close and all guns opening up,  cheers for letting me join and one match it seemed people actually wanted free cookies and drink that i was offering for them to come within 3km had that meany come close . tho only manged around 14k secondary damage

Honestly, between the incoming fire from 4 enemy ships and a Chikuma 2ft away from me (that my secondaries utterly wrecked) I did not even notice until you told me in chat!

Respectfully report, fired full broadside HE salvo at a full-hp Katori at 6-7 km (iirc) yesterday, hit 1 shell causing a detonation. Hilarious moment for both of us, no salt involved

Maybe a great moment for the contest but will see what else this month will bring

We got smashed! A standard battle on 'Big Race' is terrible for slow ships, next time we should camp behind the islands at spawn and wait

I'm flattered that you thought it worth looking up my stats. I am new to this game and have mostly played Co-op battles so far. Orlan was my first attempt at a Random, and something in the system hung up. It looked like a screen lock-up, but it couldn't have been, since I was able to read several forums whilst I waited for it to clear. It never did, so I went to bed. I assume that someone elses' machine crashed. Hope that my next attempt at a random goes better. 

I thought that this society was for Captains who simply liked Mikasa, not just owners?

Let me in, or develop a taste for hot steel! At close quarters, of course.

Well unfortunately the first 3 categories of the contest are only for members who were already in the society on the 1st of August. The only category you would be eligible for would be number 4, and the prize for that is a Mikasa (which is a bit pointless as you already own her).

 

But as long as this one goes well, I am planning to run another contest in the future and you would be able to join in that one as a society member.

 

Edit: Plus, I am going to try and organise an in-game....something....to celebrate the end of the contest at the start of September. You are more than welcome to join us for that. Details about that will come after I get back from holiday next week.
