Convert Gold to Doubloons, please

To Wargaming:

Please let me use my gold that can be used in World of Tanks and World of Warplanes as welI, but not in World of Warships. I still have quite some gold laying around somewhere since I've bought it 1,5 years ago. I have barely used it because I stopped playing World of Tanks and I also didn't like World of Warplanes which came out later, so I also didn't use it there. When Warships came out I found out that I couldn't use my gold  :-s   It's strange that gold can be used in 2 of the 3 games but not in Warships, which is the only game I really like and play alot. I'm not going to buy new doubloons while I have much gold standing frozen.

Still waiting to make use of the 8000 gold I got in WoT, plan to buy port slots with it, though I think that dream is pretty much dead at this point.

 

WG was advertising the unified account way back when both WoWp and WoWs was in development, and they did it for WoT and WoWp, but when WoWs came out, people were asking and WG didn't really get much of an answer except to wait.

It's just that I can not find where it says it. When ever I look, all it says is

There is no specific mention of Gold or Free experience.

Why should they change it? Everything written there is correct. The only thing specifically mentioned to be available across all WG Titles is premium time.

So to activate Premium for Warships without doubloons but with gold I must start up World of Tanks (or -warplanes) and buy Premium from there? Then I must install that game again first  :-)

Is there a way to do that via Wargamings website/my account? I was just looking for that but I can't find it. Thanks for your replies and help!

I haven't played WoT in a long time, but once a month or so I update my client log in and extend my premium time ( and maybe play the odd game now and then ).

wot = 15 000 gold

wows = 10 000 doubloons

 

I guess I am, fked up, right ?

CS is not willing to transfer it, so what can i do ?

- purchase 1 year even if I theoretically have enough gold for it ( wasted money).

- top up my wot/wows account (that will be highly disadvantageous considering the prices) and buy it afterwards

I think WG learns the lesson with the planes. In the beginning i use WOT to get free XP to use in WOW and develop faster (now the game is uninstalled). I think WG don't want to ruin WOWs like WOW. I have 16k gold in WOT, will be unfair for the rest that I use this gold in WOWs and use premium tanks to get free XP to use in WOWs.

 

The only cuestion it's activate acelerated crew training when reach elite status, that's make me to play only ships I develop and when reach elite no more playing (except minekaze).

 

(Not to mention economic policy of WG. It's more profitable sell gold and doublons. I don't complain the must win money)

Most people paid with real money for the gold in WOT. I don't see what the problem is in sharing it across the games. There is no disadvantage for other players. Gold is just a money box.

 

Free xp is a bit of another story. One could say you should not be able to exchange experience from one game to another. However a lot of players have already transferred xp to free xp for gold. I don't think that many players have a shorteness of Elite xp in WoWS.  For examble I have over 2.000.000 experience which I can transfer into free XP.  However in december 2014 I transferred , in anticipation on Wows, 400.000 experience in WoT to free experience. (what seems to be a waste of money). So I don't see a big problem into sharing free xp between the games. I already would be glad if I can spent my WoT gold in WoWs.

I mean unfair that you play WOT for several years and have a lot of tanks, even without pay anything you will have several premium tanks, that gives you a lot of free XP, that you could use on WOWs.

 

This way all WOWs player are equal, the one who wants pay real money to go faster has the same chance than the others.

 

I think it's for the good of the game, I'm tired of seeing tier X players with less than 1500 battles, who don't know how to play. Liability to others in battle, I can level the battle in tier V or VI not in IX X.

 

Yesterday a North Carolina(VIII) with less than 1000 battles (spanish as I), me with my Amagi(VIII), other 2 Tirpitz and me pushing south in Prey (with 1 DD and 3 or 4 CAs). He star to go south but he see 3 enemy DDs south and turn North, and wait a while and then run away too, battle was lost. I tell him that run away when we need him south and he told that where are DDs. He dies and I survive runing away of course we lost.

 

Imagine a lot of Tier VIII+ thanks to free(with no real money) free XP(WOT free XP).

Yeah,people must pay real money in both games, but gold does not mean the same in both games crew 100% in WOT is more expensive than captain in WOWs, space =, camo cheaper in WOT.

 

Today Gold cost same € than Doublons (same specials also). I think it's the first step to unify gold and doublons.
