Thank god WOWS don’t introduce limited ammo per game! Pilots were throwing bullets out of the cockpit window and were hitting something. 16 planes dead in one lemming train mess with 2 tier 8 IJN planes with focus fire. NASTY! I must have come close to that number in my fully upgraded AA Cleveland too. AA power is crazy. Any other experiences peeps? Can anyone beat that? Feel proud today, but you can shot me out the water..I can take it.

Awesome aircraft kill count. But come on, so many CV players are so bad that I can get away with a Ranger with 0-1-3 setup with solo stats like this: I'm starting to think that many players are just using BOT programs to grind through their CVs....many are really that bad imho...... Check my stats....you'll find quite a lot of games "beyond tier 5" (733 x tier VI, 933 x tier VII, 624 x tier 8, 79 x tier IX)....also got to rank 1 in RB season 2 in a tier 8 DD...Tashkent.... In general I just have more fun in mid tiers, so what? I also "dare" to play 99% SOLO in randoms, I don't need support from 1-2 divison mates in 84% of my games to muster enough courage to play (like other guys do). ;) Edited March 29, 2016 by Trigger_Happy_Dad

TBH there are just are not enough decent CV players but there are better than me out there. It might help if "Clear Skies" was restored to the original requirement but dare I say no Soviet Cvs. EDIT the biggest idiots are CA and BBs that will not initially cover you but cream their "brown trousers" when a DD gets within 15 -20kms. It has less to do with good play on my end and more to do with bad play on the other end though. Edit: highest in non-cv was 35 on atlanta. [CG] Redcap375 Players 4,371 posts 15,295 battles Report post #19 Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) Each to their own. Play to enjoy the game m8. Flying planes though murdering amounts of flak at 7.5 km with nothing but tin foil as armour does not, to me, equate as “fun”. The only thing that makes it though is the disconnected wreckage of the once cockpit. In a bit trigger lad. Edited March 29, 2016 by Redcap375

[CG] Redcap375 Players 4,371 posts 15,295 battles Report post #22 Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) Peffers. Ive just moved this to this tread as its my honest opinon on why i believe full strike layouts arent as good as the old 2-2-2. "A CV should bring flexibility to the team. That what it was designed for. The ability to deal with a number of different situations. That’s why I believe the 2-2-2 of the tier 7-8 IJN CVs are hard to beat, for me anyway. If the enemy has the same layout then it’s anyone’s game, good luck. If the enemy has a US full fighter layout 2-0-2 then you will always match their fighters, even though you will always lose (unless you get a lucky focused). But that allows your torps and bombers to fly past and cause havoc. Two enemy fighter planes just can’t be everywhere, trying to defend and intercept 6 IJN planes. Plus they have a longer re-arm periods. If the enemy have a US full strike layout 0-1-3, if you catch and find them, their toast! Granted, you wont destroy all of them most of the time but at least 2-3 groups. I ALWAYS target the torps first (real damage dealers), then pick off the slower bombers with focus fire. That leaves my torps and bombers to again, wreak havoc knowing that nothing in the air will pester them. AA is a different story J Full strike layouts tend to go for the quick “sink the CV quick” approach. Which means they skirt round the sides of the map. Easy to pick up and very easy to kill. You have all the time in the world if you catch them. If the IJN player has a 3-1-2 layout, then god help the US Full strike player, not pretty."
