Game crashing

Recently updated to the latest patch, after 16 hours of download I find out its broken, crashes as soon as I hit play, even in safe mode.

I'm currently updating drivers to see if that makes a change, if not, I'm not sure what I'll do as I cannot reinstall the entire game, it would take way too long.

 

Anyone else experiencing this and found a fix? Thanks

Both me and my friend who have windows 10 have found out we are having the same problem, probably compatibility issues.

Nothing? One of them most common OS's and it just doesn't work at all, did WG even bother to test it?

I know its a pain but if you if you can, do an overnight re-install.

it fixed some horrible probs I had that seemed unresolvable. sometimes the game just needs a refresh due to the lack of optimization and the updates getting messed up.

We have the same problem. Also W10.

Loading for about 3 seconds, then it crashes out to wiindows.

Have not tried a reinstall. If that works we would like to know about it.

Appears a compatibility issue, maybe if WG knew they could do a mini patch.

Reinstalling the game fixed the issue. Incidentally, I've downloaded the same amount of data (2.8 Gb and later another 5.5 Gb) during the reinstall as I did during the "update" earlier...

I might have to try it at some point, new fiber optic soon so I may as well wait. Probably going to roll back windows as my taskbar has broken, AGAIN.

Just brilliant, just updated to SSD and 16GB of RAM, want to play to test my system.
Start the launcher, install the update, instant crash when I launch the game. So basically I manage to crash faster with my upgraded system.

Now downloaded the installer, started that, says it needs to update the client (that was up to date) with 2864.1MB of data. So lets see what that does.

Well reinstall didn´t work, no change. Direct crash when I launch the game.

Got a pretty UN inspiring reply from support, they said i had broken mods (without having any installed??) and broken game files, going to reinstall and see what it does.

Well I have no mods either, did a full re-install and have the same shitty problem.

Supports just repeating themselves, delete 'mods', clean client, and it still doesn't work! Frustrated now.

Same Problem here, Win10 64. Crash 3 seconds after starting the game. Reinstalled, deleted all mods, updated all Drivers.... no way.

my problem is that i can do 2-3 games then it freezes so i have to ctrl+alt+del and relog again. pain in the [edited]. and i run win 7

Mine crashses as soon as I hit play, not even any error messages just default 'This has stopped working'
