FaceFisted Beta Tester 868 posts 5,081 battles Report post #1 Posted March 11, 2016 Do you like new sounds when module is damaged? Me... I don't. They are out place and most importantly, they are really annoying and hard for ears. Constructive suggestion for WG is to replace them with old ones until they think of something better. Venatacia Beta Tester 872 posts 5,885 battles Report post #3 Posted March 11, 2016 (edited) Have only managed to play one game since the new patch.. umm or is that the first newest patch.. downloading another now. Haven't heard these bad sounds so I'm quite worried now. Soon as this "new" patch does it's thing I will try and see how the sounds are. Edit: I must be deaf (which I am but not fully) because all sounds are ok to myself. What am I listening out for that everyone dislikes ?. TheJezna Beta Tester 790 posts 1,808 battles Report post #12 Posted March 11, 2016 I fail to understand how anyone could have come up with such an atrocious idea for a sound effect and how someone in charge approved of it, it got created, then integrated into the game by someone then tested by numerous people and none of them spoke up and said "hey guys, this is pure crap, we can't put this in the game, people will think we are retarded"

Kurbain Players 1,976 posts 2,773 battles Report post #19 Posted March 12, 2016 I don't actually mind the sound itself, but it does not fit the game or situation during which it plays in my opinion. I would prefer its removal as well.
daki Weekend Tester 1,677 posts 20,290 battles Report post #20 Posted March 12, 2016 Sound warnings for critical damage and such is a good thing overall, but the choice of effects is very bad to say the least. That "electronic" type of sound kills quite a bit of immersion for me as I cannot picture these sounds in that era.
