Not because I want to see how punchable it is or anything, but you know that NEW, IMPROVED, INTUITIVE sound you get when one of your systems gets damaged or one of your turrets implodes? Yeah, the annoying screechy sound, similar to two radios trying to transmit on the same frequency.

 

Great improvement guys, I know the sound department of yours has too much free time but can't you, I don't know, find them some floor to mop up?

yeah i posted a post also on the bug thread thing..

i cant believe they made a sound like that and still live. this sound made me turn all audio off the game after taking 1 hit. at first i tought it was a bugged sound due to a mini freeze or something.

gg. keep doing this to the game and i will request a refund for the well above 300 euros i have spent on the game

There's not much to say about the glitchy sound when something breaks, it's really awful. The new muffled voices are also quite annoying imho.

Agreed, those new sounds are absolutely HORRIBLE.

 

No idea how any dev could think it's a good idea to implement that trash sound.

they are really annoying... i could rage when i have to hear them 10 times in 20 secs... (which happend today) turret dead... torpedo dead.. repaired again dead ans so on... and it literally didn't stop...

I do not agree with Whiskey Wolfs words, but the sound for heavy hits is really awful. The one before was very nice.

Please remove the new sound permanently.

When things people hate starting to pile up, then I'm sure, WG'll wake up, once they start loosing substantial amounts of money, due to people just having enough and not being to take it anymore. Until that happens, we have to sit tight and await that moment patiently.

Oh so they are intended?... I simply thought that my headset finnaly yielded on high pitch sounds after all this years of (flawless) service!!!!, rofl...

 

...I will then join the lynch mob looking for the sound "artist"... if I just remembered where I left my pitchfork :) and the pack of torches.

Hope this gets hotfixed in a couple days like 5.2's mistakes. I tried setting the sound quality to low (which actually seems to be a pre-5.2 gun sound setting, pretty nice) but this didn't affect anything. I would like to doubt that this effect is supposed to sound the way it does (sounds like a corrupted file), but WG's sound department genuinely doesn't seem to know what they're doing. There's no need to keep messing around with the sound like they do anyway.

Just played another round in the Kamikaze R and this time I was even shot at ... the new sound effect is obnoxious when you get a couple modules broken in quick succession. Sounds like your speakers/headphones/headset dying. Please revert, please.

well after doing 4 battles i couldnt play more my ears started to have earaches and gave me migraine. so no more wows for me before the sound reverse or someone can get a sound mod,

I heard it guys, Trough my big tower speakers, powered by massive amp (because I like the thunder of a BB volley ).
Now I know what are you talking about. OH. MY. GOD.

 

Now I have to play on low volume or risk damaging my windows.

Perhaps the sound guys just tried to see how bad a sound they could make and still get it approved to be in the game.
