ARP Hiei 16 points captain, but already have one

I completed one of the missions, and got ARP Hiei ship + Hiei captain with 0 skill points. The other mission has the same Hiei captain as reward, but states +16 skill points? Is that a fresh new captain with 16 points, or add 16 points to existing one? Can anyone clarify the rewards please.

Is it +16 or is it just set to 16? Because +16 would mean that it would be possible to get a 19 point captain relatively easily that way.

You mean it will become a 16 skill point captain, or if i play some games and level her up to 10,  will her be a 26 skill point captain? :)

which, frankly, is less than ideal... I mean, what does a Kongo want with 16 points worth of captain skills, really? None of the fifth row skills are that good for her, there's very little use for anything on the fourth row except for AFT... sure, Supernintendo and Vigilance aren't exactly bad, but also not expensive. It would have been faaaar better if we could have chosen the ARP captain those points go to (hello Concealment Expert Myoko! or at the very least give us a choice which skin we want our "Elite ARP Kongo" to have...)

is it a complete new captain then you are fucked

Is is just a +16 to the current hiei you could change her to myoukyou before, retrain her, and get the 16 points for the myoukous...

Put her on the ARP Myoko then, even less use for 16 skill points imho. ;)

 

(That bit of extra concealment for the Myoko for 5 points? pffft)

No need to retain anything, all ARP captains can be used in all ARP ships without retaining.

 

I think I will just wait and see which further ARP ships we will see in the future and then decide for which ship I will skill my 16 point captain.

Nope, I have ARP Myoko + ARP Kongo, Haruna & Hiei, and you can switch ARP captains like you want on them.

derp, I never even thought about trying that... probably because the "captains" are named after the blooming ships, so why would you be able to switch them around right xD

Is it me or a 16 skill point captain on what is a basically a tier 5 Kongo entales a clubbing of some epic proportions? Not that you cant do it with regular ships and captains but... some people at tier 3-4 dont even have Captain skills unlocked yet..

nah.. it wont be seal clubbing... only advantage is jack of all trades that gives you better repair time and t4 skills arent for kongo. that 16skill captain is much more useful on myoko..

for what ? Sure, you can have increased fire chance with AFT, but this is hardly what I would call sealclubbing.

There aren't "epic" captain skills for battleships that would ensure some quality clubbing. Although *if* Anime Fletcher happens, such statpadded captain certainly will find some purpose.

fletcher was on screen for about 30 seconds and then exploded. I REAAALLLY highly doubt arpeggio fletcher will be a thing

Destroyers dont have the computing power to form a mental model. There are 2 in the comic. Yukikaze who relyes on Yamatos procesor power and Vampire who relyes on Repulse.

I think they will not directly award 16 skill points but rather captain XP that is worth 16 skill points, which is 878k xp. The points you already have on Haruna will simply be added, but keep in mind that from going from 16 to 17 points, you will need almost 300k xp.

Yet Fletcher can make the most out of 16lvl captain, maybe Takao too - full camo build, neony kruzer disappearing at 10km, looks legit:rolleyes:
