1. be nice in chat, suggest simple team tactics which will give your team an advantage over the enemy team.

 

for example:

 

"Work together guys - good luck!  Arbeitet zusammen Leute - viel Glück!"

 

"Most of our ships start near A + B, so A + B first :-)?"

 

"If we take and hold  A +  B we win by (cap-) points, easier to do so if we work together :-)?"

 

+ ping + fire (+hit!) primary targets (enemy DDs, low HP ships, cruisers, enemies in Cap.)

 

* more examples of nice teamwork in random battles

 

2. support your team where you are needed most to win the game.

Don't hunt that lonely enemy ship on map edge, help to secure the objective(s)! 

Help team mates in need of support, if you prevent their destruction they can still help the team! ;) 

 

3. Don't rage / insult your team mates if they fail to play their ships properly, tell them politely what they should have done instead.

 

That's basically all you need to do to get a good Karma...good luck! ;)

 

P.S. Yes, I sometimes rage in chat too, but it really never leads to something positive, so I try to avoid that. ;)

That doesn't work for all. I do all that and still have karma of 2. You get more dislikes for killing people unfortunately; well, or fortunate I guess, would rather have kills and be disliked.

Yesterday I earned Karma points 99 and 100 in 1 game with my Zuiho, carriers are pretty awesome atm imho. ;)

I think Karma has been forgotten by most players. Or at least: the interaction that is necessary to raise someone else's Karma.

 

When this system was introduced I received +11 on the first week. Now I am still stuck at 24. That is almost only the same amount of +Karma but sparsely received over the whole time since Karma has been introduced. My behaviour hasn't changed and I think I even got slightly better at the game. I guess only few people seem to care to commendate others any more...

A really good rant distracts from playing though, once I beached my ship while yelling in chat......that didn't really help to win the game.... ;)

First most people do not even think about it. they go quickly to the next. How about a forced give +1 and -1 after a match....

 

Get into a clan, if you see anybody from the clan on the other side.....give +7 to each other...how is that working to you?

I am sorry. But raging at peoples going middle on two brothers will never get me any good karma. Because I could smash my head against the wall each time I see people doing that. 

 

However, I try to give as many good as neg points.

I'm in no Clan, and imho WG should prevent people from the same Clan from complimenting each other, else it's too easy to farm karma for clanners. ;)

I have a really hard time not to do that,especially in weekends...

 

My TS "coworkers" know pretty well what i am talking about

 

Example: Yesterday i ragedeleted the game and sold all my BB's

Maybe going one ship class is better than keep playing all of them.

 

I have a hard time playing 3 classes, it seems that when you switch alot you seem to bring over the how to play in the wrong classes.
