Furthermore, a three-times rank 1 flag would also have been possible. Edit: Did not receive the new flag yet. Did anybody else? I would still have prefered they allow us to mount more then 1 flag (so we can pimp up the ships as we get flags) but good change of pace for WG actually giving us something different.. More than 1500 shots fired per battle? To think that those are average values and there could be even more ammo flying / swimming around in any given ranked battle.... Slargmann Players 349 posts 2,931 battles Report post #12 Posted February 23, 2016 Quick and dirty assumptions: Avg amount of DD is 3 per team for 6 per match. Avg amount of torpedo tubes per DD is 9. Avg amount of guns per ship is 8 (fewer turrets on DDs but then again higher Rof but let's go with 8) This means that the average shots fired per participant is 189 or 23.6 volleys worth. Seems low rather than high. A bit more than one per minute, but given the ROF of say Benson or Mogami I'd assume more. Average torpedoes fired per DD is 22 or slightly more than 2 volleys. Gut feeling this seems more or less on the ball since while you'd launch more in a winning game there will also be plenty of times where a DD would launch 1 or less volleys. All in all, I would rather say that it seems people are shooting less than I would've assumed going by gut feeling. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Its not like you get rewarded a pirate flag and 2 months later its removed from you... P.S.- but I was joking about the season 1 rewards... Not really... season was over and days after they gave 10 million credits for rank 1... season 2 was about to start when they gave out kitakamis for us to test (I saw it appear in port and didnt even knew why... it was a guy in random battles that told me cause he also got one without knowing)... season 2 was already on the way when WG announced on portal they gave out rank1 players kitakamis to test... Note I'm not complaining that "I want reward for season 1"... I appreciate that they gave us those credits and kitakami trial after... just like this season they changed the flag after season was over. But we're arguing opinions here... season 1 reward was lots of flags and stuff from moving through the ranks... cause again reward is something you gain, not something you get to see and touch for 2 months and then is taken away (for me at least) Edit: I miss kitakami... and the pretty torp walls Edited February 24, 2016 by SunSkaRe Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I played just one game and after refused to do free testing of a ship..as a reward. Do you call it a reward if you ask some to do work or a favor for you? I do realize I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but is it really? We weren't promised a reward ship for rank 1 in season 1. Those fortunate ones who achieved it got a nice little extra bonus of a "loaner" ship. Would they have gotten more play time from the ship if it had actually garnered credits for games? Sure. Yeah I'm with you all the way regarding "I didn't get a reward" or "the reward wasn't good enough" (that's the one I like the least). But I do agree it's kind of a douche move for the ship to not even earn (free) xp or credits. I mean, how many winner of Kita was there? 300-ish? It would have cost WG absolutely nothing to just let it earn like a normal ship, IMHO.
