Message to WOWS Game  Support:

Hello

I recently completed the APR Kongo mission after many hours play. I am very disappointed with this reward and here are the reasons why.

1. This ship is permanently based in the Japanese port.
2. The ships paint job looks like it came out of some kind of gay bar....No disrespect to gay people but it looks truly awful in game.
3. This ship comes with a squeaky little girl captain that only speaks Japanese and just ruins the in game play of this ship.

Why why why cant this ship be painted with normal camo paint and have a normal captain. WOWS is not an arcade game so please can you pass this message on to which ever moron came up with this idea.

If you wish to have the IJN Kongo without the Arpeggio camo you can always fall back to the regular ship, it is Tier V. so it is not that hard to reach but if you have, take some time to leave your impressions on the special.

We appreciate your feedback to our game and we are grateful that you took your time to do so, unfortunately the Wargaming.net Support has no use for feedback no matter how useful.

What's the interest in the ARP (not APR) Kongo if not for the anime deal?

I seriously don't see why people do these missions or use the ship if they don't like it......

 

Idk what to think about someone who comes here to complain about a deal made between two companies to advertise both their products and also to complain about a ticket response that's totally legitimate and far more than he actually deserves.

If the content can be ignored by not selecting the Duckburg port, same as the Arpeggio content can be ignored by not selecting the Yokosuka port,.. why not? Nobody is forcing you to play with the ARP and Donal Duck ships.

I can't see why not XD Anyway, if you cesed to like cartoons (or anime) when you got older, I can only pity you. No offense intended If you like something, it does not matter how old you are. Everyone is a kid at heart

I LOVE PURPLE, so I love the ARP ships. I love squeaky girls talk so happy with that too  I do agree though that having Japanese language and not having a tick box to have the option to change it to my language is a bit frustrating. 

 

I hear her squeak out something and my heart jumps, I'm quickly looking around for incoming shells or torpedoes when all she is saying is well done we are winning.

Seems a little ungrateful to me - I think that having the Kongo & Myoko (both excellent ships) as reward ships is fantastic, regardless of their colour scheme.  Agreed that the Smurf captain is annoying, but I'll get over it.  Compare this with the recent WoT challenge for a truly useless Premium T8 tank, the neutered FV4202 ...

 

So I think you're being a bit ungrateful mate.  Even if you don't like the ships, the goodies you got on the way were pretty good too.

I think this game degrades by the polution with unrealistic stuff like this.

Wow you serious ?

 

It should have been clear to you from the start that this is something special... like manga based japanese cartoons or something.

 

I think it's rather cool... it's something completely different and makes the ship stand out.

 

It does break the emersion a bit, but these ships seem very rare... only few manage to complete it.

 

I'd would have liked to see even more special effects, like special colored bullits, lasers, etc, to make the enemy aware at great distance that something special is firing at him/her.

 

The ship is so rare that bitching about it is kinda useless I think.

 

You should at least be happy with apperently the free extra port.

 

If you don't like the ship you can always delete it !

 

But to make you happy, perhaps they should allow a customization of the skin... but that's kinda not fair to the enemy cause this ship has huge firing range.

 

So the skin is understandably locked... to indicate it's a special ship !

 

And the japanese voice is kinda cute/cool.

 

Though I wish there were english subtitles appearing, then I can learn japanese too ! LOL... and the voice may be a bit louder !

 

Though the purple and pink colors does make it feel like a teamkiller ship.

 

One solution could be to allow different kinds of neon lighting skins.

 

However the pink/purple kinda goes with the girlish voice ;)

Just rename /res/Audio/Arpeggio to /res/Audio/~Arpeggio and your ears will enjoy their new-found peace.

Oh that rich ,-) if you lable animes generally as kids stuff i really hope you dont show Fritz the Cat or Bible Black to your 6 year old kid if you ever have one. Animes are more than black and white you get anything from kid stuff to action to romance to comedy to educational to porn.

Well if you are so disappointed, you can always modify res_mods so those ships have normal camo also.and yes, World of Warships is a very arcade game. Personally love have having a free Myoko and Kongo in my port regardless what kind of color it is..

 

And its just good thing if publisher keeps doing marketing promos like this, free stuff for everyone.

I dont want to play it and dont want it to be put in my face. I take this game probably to serious and mistaken it for it being a wargame.

I am interested in playing a wargame with a high standard for reality, not in games like mario karts where this game will lead to if it is going to be manga, donald duck or whatever cartoon like it will be.

Ofcourse you can reply with me unistalling the game then, but that would be dropping €30 euros down the drain.

If the makers had told me it would be a manga fantasy game, I wouldn't put even effort in playing it.

They only appear in random battles if you have the Yokosuka port selected, if you don't you will see these ships as regular Kongo and Myoko ships and it won't even say ARP in front of them so it doesn't affect the feel of the game at all unless you choose to see them

Got the message, probably I indeed selected this port, unaware of the side effects.

I definietely will not do it again, since I think hentai polutes this game, but thats no news.
