Many of us are just before 260 due to starting the project R late and not noticing there was a weekly mission set along the fixed package of missions.

Originally the whole project end date for Project R was 24 of February. The community managed to gather 10millon pearls way earlier than this but this should not be a reason to end the whole project at 10million because the end date was 24. (just click the project R on the game launcher and see bottom line where it says event end)

 Most community based events of this type in other games, let you gather beyone the number mark and up to the end date of the event. But you didnt. I was expecting at least one more week of weekly missions for project r, yet you stopped the event exactly at 10million.

You never mentioned such a mechanic at the project page, as it is completely irrelevant to how other events on other games work. (you stopped it prematurely because community reached the milestone instead of stopping it at 24Feb)

 

 

If you were in 2 weeks later than that's bad for you, but you need to take in consederation that the project didn't exist to give every single player the ship.

 

Very good sportsmanship man, especially if you are putting a 260-1 gathered pearls player on the same cauldron as the 1 pearl player.

 

Let's make some calculations

Fixed Missions Pearl total  :         65

Weekly missions total for 1 week     :  57

Total weeks of event  : 6 week resets  = 6x possible  weekly missions  = 6x 57 = 342

Maximum pearls possible till 24 February  = 65+342

When did the event end at 10million pearls , prematurely for my logic ? 14 February. so there were (from 18January) 4 WEEKS! only =

So with the premature completion of the event (because WE WERE ALL VERY GOOD AT FARMING PEARLS, so we get punished for it)

we could have gathered MAXIMUM    4x57 + 65 = 228+65=293. 

So they kinda made it that if you missed 1 week from start you wouldnt be able to gather 260 pearls. In fact i must have missed few days because due to reality i couldnt perhaps gather all weekly missions in 1 day (sunday for example).

 

But this is not just about me

 

This way, as i said, the players who farmed from day one were fine, however, the rest of the players who missed first week (BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT, EVENT ENDS AT 24 FEBRUARY, WE HAVE TIME TO GATHER 260PEARLS) got punished from their hard work because they gathered 10 million pearls 2 WEEKS EARLIER!  (24 ends Tuesday, thats 2 week resets )

 

 

This is not good sportsmanship towards the community who did extraordinary effort to cover the pearls faster than intended.

 

 

 

 

All i am requesting for all of us is to let us complete our effort for 260pearls by adding 1 more week of weekly missions AS IT SHOULD BE IN MY EYES at least, because you had event end date about 24 of February. Missing first week of event on a 6 week event shouldnt be restricting you for losing the 260pearl target.. That is my opinion and i think it is rational enough. It is a shame that some players who gathered 260-293 are negative to that.

The initial goal was 150 for a kamikaze lottery, but after a shitstorm began on the EU and NA forums that had to change something.

As a result everyone with at least 260 pearls would get the Kamikaze R guaranteed, this provided that the most dedicated players would get the kamikaze R without being in the lottery.

If you were in 2 weeks later than that's bad for you, but you need to take in consederation that the project didn't exist to give every single player the ship.

apparently you should not use the word "we" if you are complaining that you did not collect 260 in such a LONG time...

i have played only a bit more than 100 games in the time of event, yet i still managed to score 288 pearls. 

if you could not do even THIS much, don't call yourself a good pearl farmer please

 

besides - i'm guessing that you have collected AT LEAST 150 pearls, which means that you still have a chance to get it. 

for me it all seems very fair: "good farmers" get ship 100%, mediocre farmers get it 2000/x chance. 

next time please be more active. i am guessing that you did not even bother until you saw it was too late.

Kindly stop making WG the bad guy for every event and special that they make for no reason at all. To me, it was clear it could end at any time when pearls are collected => farm them fast or risk missing it. It was easy to get 260 if you weren't super lazy. You should be happy for those who actually made effort to get pearls fast, at least I would like that not every single lazy guy gets the ship for free. Some of us even bought ship that they hate just to get all peals fast. @ OP: you still made the lottery, right? I hope you lose that lottery as well for your lack of effort and decency to whine about the Project R. WG has done a nice job with improving events and missions so either be active or stop the whining!

well I've seen comment somewhere that "other server" while reaching last milestone a week and half prematurely still could get pers till the promised date....

 

I wouldn't mind if WG did the same for us, but I wouldn't mind if they sticked to what seemed (at least for me) the main plan on ending the event on 10mill milestone.

 

although If I could have that one weekly rotation more I could grab guaranteed ship, but I do realise that it was my fault for missing those two weeklies.... so I'll hope for blessing of RnG, at the moment being unless there will be some official statements on the matter that will change the situation greatly

 

PS. tbh I've never notices that project had End date as it was on the very end of the post and I didn;t read thus far hence I was sure that it ends whenever community goal is reached - seems like OP did quite oposite to me - skipped the beginning of the post and read only ending

Sorry that you will miss the ship, but that's how it is. Did you not check the missions to see what you could do since you missed that some were weekly?

 

The issue is that if you didn't click the "Join Project R" button fast enough, it was not possible to gather 260 pearls. It is not obvious that you have to click a button on the game website to join an in-game event. This is, in fact, the first time I encounter such a mechanism. An in-game event that has to be triggered out of the game. I also see no forum announcement of the project starting I gathered my 248 pearls last week, with every mission I could complete completed along the way. That's the issue here. I managed to gather only 12 weekly pearls in the first week since there was simply not enough time to gather more. Then the week changed on me while I was gathering pearls and I couldn't gather the first week pearls any more. However, reaching that 260 required gathering at least 24 weekly pearls in the first week and then completing every single mission after that. 

 

Other than the pearl cap preventing me from reaching the max tier, I've enjoyed Project R. The missions were well planned and

AFAIK the max amount of pearls is/was 293. But it seems that some folks got the 10 pearls for liking/sharing on facebook.

Does not explain the 320 though.
