How about - going for the objective(s)? ;)

How to Zone:

My team went for the objective - the big fat circle in the middle - the other team didn't.... ;)

My team focus fired at all enemy ships on the eastern flank, making short work of them.

The rest of the enemy team was on the western flank, in the end their cruisers didn't dare to go ino the Zone (?), their BBs were too slow, and so we capped in 60 seconds, gg. ;)

This stuff (teams not going for the objectives) happens on all kind of Domination maps ALL THE TIME.

Many captains are so desperate to get a kill on map edge that they don't notice how the points tick away because the enemy team owns / will own the cap zone(s) and win by cap-points....:sceptic:

Yesterday I was in a game where we took A + B, I asked for support to defend them but 6 or 7 (?) of my team turned south-west to kill a DD which was going for our CV....yea....

So - How about going for the objectives?

You don't have to hunt single enemy ships on map edge when you can help your team to take and defend most of the cap zones! ;)

This forces the enemy team to ATTACK the zones your team is holding, where you can WAIT (keep moving though) for them and focus fire the [edited] outta them! :izmena:

Nope THD you were just lucky.... by the looks of the chat, no one understood you as were the usual mixed bag of pan european languages.... Your messages, assuming they would have been understood, would have been ignored by the majority ..... sorry to burst your bubble, Trig......

Hi all,

Nice! :)

BTW; this reminded me...

Hi all,

Is this the quickest battle and victory ever? :)

Not one single shoot fired... enemy simply forgot to be in "The Zone"... it was all over in a blink... :)

Another example, I asked my team to go for A + B, ALL did so, we quickly got A + B,

I asked them to help at B because most enemies where coming for B from C, they listened and helped, we quickly gained tons of points, ofc it also helped that I killed half of the enemy team, gg. ;)

(please look at the chat)

Sorry Cherry2blost but I have been in a team with THD, he politely put out some instructions in chat and most of the team acted on it and won easily. I am sure a few players in the team took no notice but you only need 6 or 7 to play as a team and it gives a significant advantage.

I am also sure THD has battles where it falls on deaf ears but generally it certainly makes a difference if there are decent instructions.

At least 1 guy responed (moin = northern gemrna for hello / good day / good morning / good evening...) and the others in the east quickly killed all the targets with focus fire. :-)

"Primary targets for focus-fire: enemy DDs, low HP ships, cruisers, enemies in Cap. J"

germanjdj60.jpg

I just translated what I wrote earlier in english to german 'cos he wrote "moin" so I knew he's german and might not understand english so - yea.

Sometimes it works in higher tier games too... ;)

Aye. ;)

And if they listen an work together and smash the enemy - the mood in the team is just excellent! ;)

"West first :) ?"

*enemy team dies in merciless focus-fire*

(tier VII - IX battle)

....much better than the ususal chat after a lost game without teamwork.... ;)

It's also god for your Karma if you are friendly ingame + try to coordinate the team + help where you can. :)

My team went for the objective - the big fat circle in the middle - the other team didn't.... ;)

Just aiming for victory and playing sensibly would help lot without any grand scheming in chat.

But for some weird reason some players seem to aim to lose.

I wonder if enemy team blamed AFKs :P

AFKs carried.jpg

Such a joy to sometimes have team in which everyone... well, almost everyone plays sensibly.

(without suiciding cruisers and BBs)

Basically enemy team split their forces to two while most of my team spawned and concentrated to one flank.

Only Tankdestroyer in Cleveland stayed behind me until sighting enemy and sinking of forward scouting enemy Nicholas.

After which he moved to center to support in chewing other enemy flank instead of trying to stop multiple cruisers and BBs.

While I stayed spotting enemy and keeping them nervous before rest of the team coming to help.

me and my division mates couldent care less about sitting in a cap for a full min, we play for the team deathmatch and last one standing gamemodes which dont exist so we make do with what we do have.

we would reather spend that time haveing a full on brawl point blank brawl while giggling like little school girls as we blow other players away with our un coordanated 3v1s. After all why play a combat *game* if your going to avoid combat or be forced away from the combat.

Fun, that is the reason we are all here right?

There was only no nice big battle because the other team didn't seem to understand how Zone works. ;)

If they had, they would have kept some ships in the Zone and fought harder for it.

Their western group made the mistake to hunt lonely ships on map edge, instead of fighting for the objective and having a nice big battle.... ;)

(this happens VERY often in domination battles, regardless of the number of cap zones)

;)

Thx mate, but they are not all "bobs", they often just don't know better, imho it's better to try to coordinate these unexperienced players to do some teamwork / focus fire -  and it's really nice when it works! :)

Nice example;  http://wowreplays.com/Replay/1006-ARP-Myoko-Tierra-Del-Fuego-ARP-Myoko-2797-base-XP-2x-cap-14x-defense-3-

Our destroyers didn't want to take B (ONE OF three OBJECTIVES) so I went there with my ARP Myoko....in a tier 8 battle....I caped that OBJECTIVE twice which won us the game in the end. ;)

2797 base XP, 2x cap, 14x cap defense, 3 kills (including 1 Tirpitz), gg.
