Would you reset and replay a nation/class?

I can replay any ship I want.

Both CV lines are fine imho up to tier 6 (and I've not progressed past that)

What is different to just replaying the ships?

You cannot reset your brain. It will never be like the first time.

Usn DDS got some serious love after I'd endured them to t8. Would be nice to reset them in my stats and then never ever play then again, to much trauma.

Furutaka got buffed after I sold her, same with Colorado. It'd be fun to sail with those ships again but I can do that without resetting anything. So no I would not.

I just created a new account because the last one was going bad economically and I needed to start anew. Or more accurately, started using my old old WoT account.

Yeah early grinds which go by so fast, each ship is a marked improvement, stronger faster better, more tactical options... Feel like you're flying through.

 

Now everything's is at least t7 the grinds become... Grinds.

tbh only someone obsessed with stats would come up with a post similar to yours

Hmm . . . Very thought provoking topic.

 

With the benefit of hindsight I would have concentrated on playing just light cruisers (1), thereby :

1) Saving credits/time on unwanted ships

2) Concentrating XP gain in a few captains with a lot of skills, instead of a lot of captains with a few skills

3) Concentrating on learning just a few ships in the hope of being more effective in them,

 

Of course it's only by actually playing the ships that you get that much needed hindsight! However if I HAD to start from scratch again the above is what I would do.

 

(1) IJN cruisers as far as Kuma, US cruisers as far as Cleveland, German cruisers as far as Nürnberg.

They have been GREAT FUN, but it is frightening how narrow my interest is. Sorry, can't help how I feel.

edit: NA doesn't allow stat reset but EU does so the "technology" to reset a specific class is definitely there

Reset means that Time u spent is lost. Really stupid idea.
