Friend of mine is watching this anime and he said there are tons of IJN ships and also other nations like Bismarck, Tirpitz, Roma, Litorio... At first I was not happy about this idea but now I think its really cool. You get free ships and free port slot if you can bear with anime skin and lolita captain... KanColle does feature Bismark and even some Italian ships - not in the actual anime, but in the whole KanColle universe they do have these ships. As for Arpeggio of Blue Steel; there is a rumour that we may be getting Takao, since this picture has been spotted in the game files; But other than that, it is the 3 other Kongo variants; Haruna (Yellow), Kirishima (Green) and Hiei (Light pink). No other ships planed in near future but we can hope. There was mention 2nd Apreggio missions will start in March, guessing it will be one of Kongo sisters and Takeo. And I hope this time WG will get voiceover from proper voice actresses, playing Kongo with Iona voice... meh. On other hand, there is already directory tree for Iona, Kongo, Haruna, Hiei, Kirishima and Myoko voiceovers My wild guesstimate is WG wants to release Arpreggio Yamato as "final" set of missions, requiring both owning all previous Anime ships and doing unearthly achievements to obtain her. The OP's friend might have been confused; in the KanColle game we have quite some foreign ships. In the Arpeggio manga all we have is Bismarck, Repulse, Vampire and a U-Boot. I really want a takao class. preferably maya. she's my fav charachter from Arpeggio. its so funny that she's obsessed with carnivals and pianos. never heard of such a ridiculous charachter in any anything ever. although takao herself would be brilliant as well. its so funny how she likes gunzou its like... WoT give away tier 10 tank, and pretty good at that. It "only" requires doing truckload of increasingly difficult missions, with last ones requiring dozens of luck and skill to complete. The former are probably some of the most inspired chara designs I've ever seen. Kancolle design for then is much better and that's saying a lot considering how plain Kancolle Yamato is.
