Since the 5.2.4 patch, the game is unplayable, my FPS has gone from 72 to 12, It's impossible to play at that speed. please fix and refund with extra days to all paying members for the days until a new patch solves this problem.

Please post your dxdiag output file -> http://wizards.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1271

Also, post your preferences.xml which contains your graphic settings.

Including your python.log could also help, this file is located in your world_of_warships\profile folder.

Without that information any of these 'this or that suxors donkey balls' are not really helping anyone, if there is a problem and you want to get it fixed please provide more information.

edit: I have no performance issues with the new patch, and before patches go live they gone through some QA but it is always possible some specific hw/software(drivers) combination has issues which were not present in the test group. This is why giving additional information is a must if you're having issues and you're serious about getting them fixed. Adding some screenshots from during gameplay can also help.

Thank you for this information.

I have comparable detector scores for gpu/gpu memory and slightly better cpu score ( soec's are in my forum profile ), and as I said I am getting a steady 62fps give or take a few with my settings.

Attached File   preferences.xml   11.22K

But, we don't have the exact same hardware so I can't say what is happening.

I do see you got a dual core i3 which is on the lower side of min requirements, but I would still expect you to get some better results. Can you post a replay?

Mobile intel i3 CPU is having max. 2.7GHz is not the same as I3 desktop which has 3.1 Ghz. Before the 5.2.4 package, the game had small declines but otherwise went perfect with 58-62 FPS. Now always go badly.

To optimize settings using Geforce Experience in game, press optimization, and game goes OK. After this package 5.2.4 can not optimize settings .

Can you remove your game specific optimizations for now and try to play the game at the medium or low preset in game and see what results you get? It might be that geforce experience is having some difficulties with the new patch.

I said this, with the lowest graphics settings the game goes badly. At any setting, low or high  game go as badly. It has no influence graphics setting, there's something wrong with the game.

I am trying to tell you to first remove your GForce Experience profile for World Of Warships and try to play the game using the default driver settings. I hope it would work better; as it did before the latest patch, as I suspect GFExperience could have changed some settings when you tried to optimize after the last patch which actually hinder performance.

We had someone with a similar problem on TS 2 days ago.

The reason for the problem in his case was that he doesn't shut down his PC properly but uses the stand-by mode for times he isn't using it.

A clean restart of the PC solved the problem in his case as the game in it's 0.5.2.4 version was using old temp files from the 0.5.2.3 version that didn't get replaced because of that.

I did so and drops FPS 72-5 or 58-6 . I have no problem with closing the PC.

Ok so your max is acceptable now but you're getting very bad drops. That is at least more clear now.

Disable all post processing -> big drain when ships explode, are on fire ect  and thus major cause of the slow down's in those situations.

Also, disabling 'animate small objects' can take some strain of your cpu and perhaps prevent some of the low dips.

With postprocessing canceled, the game goes bad, drops FPS 68-10. Animate small objects all time disable. What conclusion do I have?

That some setting is being used which is messing with your performance at certain moments.

Can you send a replay, it shows your ingame fps during times of playing so we can check at which times the drops happen. I still think you cpu would be capable of keeping up with some decent settings but it is on min requirements level so you might have to put all options on low to get consistent fps.

I said, playing with the settings to a minimum and got worse, than with the medium or high settings.

I built this gaming PC so I could enjoy playing this game along with other games, all other games run fine in top settings, if I have to play WOWS in low or Medium settings, I might as well get the old PC out the cellar.

Surely there is a fix to this problem from Wargaming?

My old hd7850 has a 85 gpu score,  and my old i7 3770 has an 12568 cpu score. Plus you have 4GB memory, which is the minimum requirement and not the recommended amount.

Are you sure you didn't mix up the old pc from the cellar with your gaming pc?

I have 16GB, so why would it say that in the preferences :(

I installed WOWS fresh on the new PC, does anybody else's say 4GB.

But still, it is only since the patch 5.4 that the lag/low FPS started.

Wait.. do you have hybrid graphics by any chance.. That gpu score is so low it can't be accurate. Or, since it tests during startup, your gpu is not increasing clock speed when you start WoWs ( idle clock speeds are much lower than those with a 3d workload ).

Its fixed thanks to mtm78

I deleted my old prefs and let the game install new prefs then re-did all my control and Visual settings..

Works fine now.

If you delete your old prefs, screen capture  your old control settings first, saves time or just copy paste as I did to knew prefs.

Still have no  idea why it said only 4gb memory tho.. now it says

<gpuMemory>    3984    </gpuMemory>
            <gpuScore>    95    </gpuScore>
            <ram>    16241    </ram>
            <virtualMemory>    8190    </virtualMemory>
            <cpuScore>    16000    </cpuScore>
