Some notes from the vid:

1) Ingame armor viewer

2) 4 new ship branches (German battleships and russian cruisers already confirmed)

3) 1 new tech tree (anything from Great Britain to Australia?)

4) Weather effects

5) No submarines :P

So, one new tech tree?

The Pan Asian tech tree seems to be the most likely candidate since WG released two Premiums, which means that there will be even more "where is the Royal Navy?" whine threads.

I guess, not enough folks bought the Warspite when she was on sale, so WG delayed the RN tech tree to 2017.

On a more serious note, the upcoming changes are very welcome, despite the mimimi chorus of the CV mafia.

Let's see how things change when the new patch hits the live server.

Indeed. It is time to rebuy Langley, move my Midway captain to it and club some seals.

so weather is aesthetics only. bit disappointing, I thought it might have an effect on visibility, cut down line of sight while not being a physical barrier.

When saw the video they mention that RN will come but its total clasified .

Now the interesting part is when he says they have "some candidates "ships" in my ears they havent even started or they dont have a clue witch ships they will introduce .

So i think RN wont come at least until christmes this year so goodbye hole of summer of the RN .

Offcurse the Russian and German Crusers and BBs will be introduce in on gamescome in august i think until then we have nothing more of the new ships .

Cheers

Hindenburg Tier 10 cruser from German tech tree :)

They were talking about a Deutschland class... more precisely: "With deutschland class at top"

there isn't a battleship from germany that could be on top with the deutschland class and the other deutschland ship is a cruiser... are they going to change the german cruisers?

Come on mate, it's obvious they refer to H-41 and gave it a name which isn't generical.

They say Großdeutschland and the H class are sometimes named as that.

Thankfully they realized subs don't fit this game.

2016 seems promising. At least they revealed some of the ships we might expect. So I got a question, is Grosser Deutschland the H-39 or H-41?

The weather effects they shown us seems nice and all the positive changes, both aesthetic and gameplay-wise are welcome :)

It's definately one of the H classes, but which one? The name Großdeutschland isn't just tied to a specific design, so it could be the H-39 (30kn, 8x406mm), H-41 (29kn, 8x420mm), H-42 (32kn, 8x480mm) and potentionally (albeit unlikely) even the monster H-44 (30kn, 508mm).

H-39 looks the least unrealistic and would trade damage output for superiour armor (60+mm bow armor, overmatch mechanic to Yamato: "Karma's a *beep*!"). H-41 could provide an interesting middle ground between the Montana and the Yamato in terms of a damage model snug in between the two. Plus the same armor shtick as mentioned with the H-39, give or take as required by balancing.

H-42 or later designs would be unreasonable as they are pure designergasm, like the Ratte tank. 100k tons displacement, armor to make the Yamato go green with envy, bigger guns and still just as fast.

The one thing that I'd love to hear from you guys is about that Project 66 Moskva cruiser ... a quick search via Google didn't yield any good results. I'd like to know something about that ship as reference point to try and see what the russian navy's shtick might be, so if someone can point me towards the right direction, please do so.

Someone will probably contradict me but I think I've always seen H-41 mooted as the likely t10 candidate in the occasional threads there has been on the subject.

Good Good.. Australian tree with some brit ships as prem

It would be actually a good choice, as the legendary Australian Navy, famous for it's glorious battles with the powerful and much feared Aborigines Navy would certainly be a welcome addition to the game.

And this is what happens when people don't buy Premiums like the Warspite, WG just delays the tech tree in favour of other Nations.

At least there will be a new RN Premium ship, which - unlike the Warspite - hopefully sell well, so we can hopefully get the RN by end of 2017.
