Is the 'Aim Assistent' mod legal?

Aiming assistants are illegal to use since they tell you where to shoot and calculate the distance but you. The only legal mods are 'aslain's mods'which provides yoy an interface changes.

The problem with that is it also seemingly counts for the devs working for WG.

 

Let recount for a moment, shall we? After its re-introduction in OBT that plague was broken for how long? 1 week? 2? 3?

Only the free one ofc, the paid one worked merrily all the time.

 

So basically, if that plague has a better "up-time" than most internet providers WG is doing something wrong ....

What made you play with the mod for 'some weeks' before you decided to report in here? Did Someone threaten to report you and you got worried or did the mod itself not provide the results you expected and now you're enquiring in hindsight? Just asking.

No it's not legal in any way shape or form.

You were trying to gain an advantage over other players.

A graded reticle that is marked with minutes of angle or stadia gives an advantage to anyone with half a brain. Is it illegal? Hardly. Why? Because it doesn't display an aimpoint, it simply provides you with the tools to adjust your aim, based on clearly readble grades. You still have to learn and experience which grade corresponds to approximately what amount of lead.

Yet it gives you an advantage. If you have the basic skill to use it. (Plus a basic version of it is basically the base reticle.)

 

What I think you meant was "unfair advantage".

Was the usage proven in mentioned case ? No, it wasnt.

You can of course disagree, but thats the only thing you can do in this case.

Just leave it finally to rest, we just need to hope that WG took its lesson.

Because he said something on a forum? Maybe he was kidding, or he meant one of those crosshair mods that add those circles, or he used aslains mod back back when it enabled the spotter view for everyone~

Sadly thats no evidence for anything.
