Also, the next trees are known, german bbs, russian cruisers and after that one tree from the royal navy. It has changed actually. But seeing a pan-asian tree before some ACTUAL navys of the time is just ... silly. I could probably live with it, but it manifests the moneygrabbing image a lot of people have of WG and that's not good for the game. That's my concern really. That is to stretch it a bit far, I must say, there were not enough Chinese (nationalist or not) ships to fill that unless we will just have 50s ships. Can you understand that announcing not releasing an Asia branch for WoWs is just a marketing move designed to bring more players ffrom there? The biggest freemium games market in the world is in Asia and WG is pretty much underrepresented. It's paramount for the WG marketing team to bring the horde of chinese players. And how do they do it? by announcing some panasian branch nobody knows when it will come and releasing 2 premium ships that are simply reskins. Now you should know how WG is. What the guy appears to be saying is that various Asian nations (my guess is China and trade partners/"allies") will share the same tech-three because they cannot field one on their own, not that a fully fledged Pan-Asian tech three will come next. The same happened in WoT, where a Chinese tech tree was introduced with only one premium vehicle (another one was added later and even further down the line, regular tanks were added). Even the first post in that thread is giving that information. In any case, I would trust the official information that the Royal Navy, German battleships and Russian/Soviet cruisers will be next (the order has been shuffled multiple times, so I'm no longer sure which one is scheduled to arive first).
