When you shoot and your enemy dodges, refuses to give broadside or times a move to perfection, like they knew what you were planning. Or when that DD invisifires over and over, when torps come at you perfectly *despite* your mabouvering... That Cleveland that knows just how to fire over that island and the battleship who deliberately waited for you to turn then nails you at long range... infuriating... So you know what I've started doing? complimenting then for good play then complimenting them via the system. Sometimes you just have to sit back and recognise: other players can play well too what are your major frustrations which make you rage at the screen? Or don't you? Do you ever think after "yeah they played well". My number 1 irritation is cruisers who dodge and angle when I'm in my BB. Do you ever think after "yeah they played well". It happens... but honestly I mainly blame myself for most of my sinkings. There are times where I should probably commend an enemy rather than blame myself, but usually after the fact I look back and identify my mistake within seconds of sinking. And then it is a little hard to give the other guy a thumbs up, because that mistake is staring you in the face. I generally reserve my "well played" thoughts for lengthy duels where we slowly whittle each other down and he wins (or loses for that matter). Or in DD fights where he does something that throws me off, literally forcing me to make a mistake. But as Vanhal so poignantly displays... the enemy isn't skilled, he is only lucky or a cheater. And no, not even when we get completely slaughtered by the enemy in battle - then they just played better, and I should have carried harder No, it's those (luckily) few cases where the entire team decides there is no such things as objectives in this game, all go hide in one corner of them map and leave me and maybe one or two others to die defending our base while they have a beach party somewhere (preferably far far away from any enemy). But then again I think the mission isnt ment do be done in a BB anyway :p I killed 3 DD's in one game with a Fuso, they just need to be stupid enough to turn to launch when I got my guns trained on them Kongo is a very good DD hunter it can out turn most torps launched from > 4 km ( and evade most of those launched closer ). I still need ~18 fires... their going slow but I didn't really focus on them tonight anyway. Decided to just play for fun and it will come, time enough to finish the mission. This includes: - DDs firing from behind the smokescreen. - CV strikes. - Higher tier BBs pulverizing my cruisers with one salvo. - Nimble T V cruisers evading my BB salvoes while bombarding me like there's no tomorrow. Then generally: - When my team has committed a piecemeal suicide and I'm left alone against a bunch of opponents who will scalp me without having deserved the honor. - When I'm killed by an opponent with a nickname which sounds silly to me. I have grown accustomed to the usual blunders of the teammates and I only get a little emotion from blatant, basic mistakes; I'm disconnected from the chat so everything is said about me or the others doesn't affect me in the slightest, it feels like floating on a cloud above all of the hate and rage. Not general advice like "dont go all to one side" but more like when 4 different players begs someone to kill the BB capping our base and instead he goes after the enemy 20 km in the opposite direction and we lose just because of that single instance of illiteracy. This is the classic response everyone who plays any shooting or wargame type of game nowadays seems to think every single person that kills them is cheating or hacking or whatever. Now with that said im not saying they dont exist but i fail to believe that everyone that kills you is a hacker or cheater, and if your so contempt to believe it then by all means report them and show the proof, if not then please just drop it and move on, because its honestly pathetic to accuse everyone who kills you or is better than you a hacker/cheater. If they play really well and I don't, they deserve to win.I admit those cruisers dodging every one of your BB shots can get quite annoying, though. My tip: Remember their dodge pattern and act accordingly.What really gets my blood boiling are deaths which are out of my control: Detonations. LilJumpa Beta Tester 4,603 posts 7,488 battles Report post #21 Posted January 20, 2016 (edited) - seeing a Tirpitz at 18+ km with my Mogami going full speed and showing my broadside to him while I am spotted by something - seeing the Tirpitz immediatly turning his guns towards me with an evil grin - seeing the Tirpitz fire a full salvo, where at that moment I reduce speed and turn into the shells so that the bow of my Mogami faces him as the shells arrive - receiving a double citadel and some hits from the Tirpitz to leave me at 4k health getting sunk right after that from another ship - checking the Tirpitzes profile, 30k avg damage and 17% Hitrate, and realising if i had stayed broadside and done nothing he would have never hit me with his amazing aiming skillz Edited January 20, 2016 by LilJumpa 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Invisifiring - yeah it's an annoying mechanic, but if simians deliberately exploits it I have to give them credit. I don't play DDs. Et_Lanatus_baro Players 465 posts 6,504 battles Report post #24 Posted January 20, 2016 The one thing that makes me rage is RNGesus from time to time I don't mind if I'm in my BB and my shots miss completely at 16km+ range fine but when a ship is totally parallel to me at 12km or under sailing in a straight line and my shots land either side of said ship that MAKES ME RAGE HAAARD, Thats my one real gripe with this game and it happens more than it should in my opinion.
