Apparently you're supposed to be able to spend them on stuff or otherwise use them up. The question would be, will we get stuff to use those pearls for in the near future and if yes, do you just need to have unlocked 150+ pearls in order to qualify for the Kamikaze R raffle (or 260 for the guaranteed ship), or do you actually require to have 150+ pearls (260) on hand? Don't they just 'tot' up, and simply acquiring a few enters you into the 'raffle'? In any case, I accidentally entered the WOW US forum - boy are they p'eed off, lmao! Would any Yank go down the Jap line? (Hmmm - not many). Soooo - they can't enter! Hehe, hehe, Muaahaahahahaha! My question is, has anyone good enough estimated what they need to do to get those 260 pearls and if they did, is it doable in a limited time, or does it require a commitment of 1-2 hours per day + decent skill? These events are designed with the intention of increasing your game time. I don't think you can get the Kamikaze with just a few battles a day. I'd say play it as you do normally, and if you see you can do it in the last days make a "tour de force" to get the last pearls. The other missions seem a lot of effort for low reward: win 25 games with cruisers (which will need roughly 50 games played to do) = 5 pearls. I'm hoping when the weekly missions reset they'll be as easy to do as previously, which means one good session a week, repeated for 4 weeks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Zathras_Grimm Players 1,438 posts Report post #12 Posted January 22, 2016 Research, Frag and then the Weekly missions should be enough to tip the number over 260 (as long as the weekly missions remain the same pearl reward). I will also have the DD class mission 5 pearls but others will be able to get an additional 3x 5 pearls if they use all the ship classes. I played quite a bit today and managed to finish them, plus 3 of the others and I now have 77 pearls, I'll try to aim for those each week and see if I manage to hit 260. Just plug away, it seems that you don't really have to aim for specific missions either (although that would boost your chances). The weekly missions refreshed with a further 60 pearls - all generic (sink 1 ship, sink 3 ships, play 3 games lol). Must be coming with a slot. However, while next week there's no hurry, on the week starting with 15 Feb you should really focus in getting the pearls asap as the targets will most probably be reached and all teh pearl hunt will be over. They cannot give you a free well-earned ship but demand real money (equivalent to 300 doubloons) in return. Well, actually they can... but that would be a bit too cheeky.
