Mucker Players 842 posts 8,403 battles Report post #753 Posted January 22, 2016 Well, a few days have passed since Project R started, and as far as the numbers go, I have serious concerns that the goal may not be achieved on the EU. Right now we have around 1.8 million pearls, I contributed 102 pearls so far. That being said, 100 pearls are easy to get. I assume most players participating have a similar amount. That would put us at around 18000 active players at the moment, or maybe 20000 as a very conservative estimate. If i'm not mistaken, each player can get a maximum of 407 pearls during the event, That means that to successfully finish Project R, at least 25000 players have to make the max. possible contribution - so we are 5-7 thousand players short. And each week a player misses, means 57 pearls lost. So players that join late, cannot contribute to full extent. For the tinfoil guys: Maybe WG made this change to the reward mechanic as they realized the goal was probably out of reach? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Unfortunately, in contrast to the other region, EU is being neglected again: There will be only 2000 Kamikazes given out at random to those who meet the event's conditions http://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/common/project-r/ I guess the main reason is EU's language diversity again. I will take part in it, of curse, but the fact that the main price is not guaranteed is so anticlimactic Update 21.01.2016: Thanks to our tireless CM team, conditions of the event had been amended. Now everybody who participate actively in the event and gathers 260 pearls, will be awarded with Kamikaze R. I also still think it's a valid business decision to implement the contest in its original form. Yep, contrary to his beliefs, this thread have showed us many things: 1. It is useful to protest obvious injustices 2. Wargaming do actually listen to its players 3. The pearl thing is really great, and I recommend it to all my friends I do not think they would have made an impossible goal for us, that would be counter-productive to all goodwill WG have gained in this mess. The 100.000 credits came in a box, so the 1 day of premium may as well.In that case you could choose at which point to activate the 1 day of premium. That should mean you can get the Kamikaze R without the 10 Mil goal ever being reached. My understanding of the event rules is that 10 million pearls are required for any kind Kamikaze handouts, be it the lottery or the "guaranteed" Kamikaze for 260 pearls. It reads: "By going above and beyond the original goal of collecting 260 pearls, you will receive your free Kamikaze R Premium destroyer, once Project R is successfully over - and all without having to rely on pure chance!" 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
