False accusations

Dear ​Captains,

 

This is my first post since years purely done out of frustration. I'm just an average player who occasionally has some fun in WOWS. Now, after a decent game I'm suddenly accused of cheating by this *********. Appearently even the GM gets involved now because this ********* is so sure I'm cheating.

 

I'm 100% sure the GM will not find any reason to accuse me of cheating so I'm not worried about this. Its only frustrating to be accused because where I come from you don't accuse people for no reason or without any proof...   I believe libel and slander should also be penalized after a certain degree. How do you experience this?

"sec i talk with admin" made me laugh so hard.

 

It is obvious that he doesn't know the admin and that just by checking stats you cannot tell if a person is "cheating" or not, well at least you cannot be 100% sure, especially not the "admin".

He is just a kid and has no clue what he is talking about. Dont worry, there will be no penalty. There will be a penalty perhaps for naming and shaming so you migh want to erase hims name m8.

Firstly, take hackusations as a compliment mate.

 

Secondly I very much doubt there are GMs in this game, that would mean wargaming paying them.

 

Thirdly, you might want to edit the guy's name out of the screencaps, you may get forum sanctions (for naming and shaming).

Btw admins don't watch people play. At least as long as they aren't in the same match playing ^^

Biggest cheat is often pressing "2" to switch to AP ammo... many players don't seem to even know about citadel hits and smell cheating.

That guy was talking out from between his buttcheeks - no admin is going to watch your games... and neither can you even contact an admin in real-time like that guy pretended.

Minority? Hell I get hack/cheat complaints and private messages fairly often

Got my first cheat accusation on WoWS today ... sadly not for really doing well, all I did was get a citadel on a low health Aoba and killed it.

 

I'd prefer it if people would accuse me of cheating when I'm actually doing something to feel proud of. Like say dodging a huge load of torpedoes -> "Auto-evasion h4x" or something like that.

I started using the mod which removes the chat box completely from aslains mod pack specifically to stop annoyance from people like this, it is annoying that I'm "forced" to do this as it has a negative effect on ranked tactic chat but the downside is worth it for my piece of mind.

Why would you disable the chat?

 

Salty crackers in chat are a third of the fun in multiplayer games.

and people like you (no offence), as in those refusing to communicate, listen or pay attention to the overall situation are the absolute most infuriating part of the entire community. Especially since, these days, you can just mute the worst offenders and continue following the chat that's actually relevant to the game

Since there is no XVM spam nonsense in this game, for me there is no reason to remove chat, and it can be helpful or/and funny sometimes.

Yeah, especially funny on lower tiers.

I came to love AP in my Karlsruhe. Most players totally rely on HE on that tier... they may burn me, but I deal loads of damage.

At close range against enemy cruisers of the same tier you can deal salvos of about 12k damage with ease... every 5 or so seconds...

Why would anyone use HE in first place if not CA in long range or Cleaveland or DD and so on??? wait sec did i remember BBs too..... okey AP is HAAAACKSsssssssss....... (Crying out loud). AP is the golden key to citadel honey.

 

got Hack accused from DD that got lucky sniped from my BB and yes I did use AP on him (that's our little dirty secret okey) funny thing about this guy was that he didn't stop there he pestered me for 3 hours until bed time came for him god bless all those insults in language unknown. Next day guess what______ that same whine and cry started again and all those treats of reporting to Admins and so ons...... oh and the insults really made my day. I just needed all that cry to mop my ship decks clean. just wondering when he will get chat ban??

 

I understand you Popov why you took chat off all thou it really gives you no tactical advantage what so ever, and yes it makes ppl pissed from your ignorance (not intended) in ranked battles.

I got accused of hacking in a tier x match in my Mogami when i was fighting a New Orleans. A guy came at me at an angle, showing his side, so naturally i gave him some steel rain and hurt him a bit. He then proceeded to drop anchor at 3 km and try to shoot me, at which point i circled him, under ran his turrets, gave him the ole HE spamaroo and a complimentary serving of torpedoes a la death. After exploding spectacularly, he accuses me of hacking, LOL. I have never seen such a  high tier skipper play as stupidly in all of my matches, not ever ( and boy are there some contenders ).

happened to me last time. some polish kid accused me of aimbot, because he in his izumo was trying to escape the battle and i had the audacity to wait with my salvo (Iowa) to hil full broadside on 14.5kms. And RNGsus even loved him, he got only one citadel. 

 

That was funny we won that match somethich like 13:1, or 13:2...
