[BLOBS] StuntMan0369 Beta Tester 923 posts 4,848 battles Report post #2 Posted January 9, 2016 If you've shown your side to a BB, no matter what tier, you've already lost. Fuso hits a sweet spot; 12 14" guns with great range (comparable to most tier 8's) and decent dispersion for said range. It also has a decent speed, making it better equipped to change to the dynamic of the battle. If a New Mexico had took those shots instead of the Fuso, you'd also be dead. Warspite? Again, you'd be dead. Then there is the tier 5's. Again, show a broadside, you are dead. Even Nikolai, Wyoming and Myogi could do it. Angle your armour, turn as soon as they fire, use their reload to either engage freely with maximum fire-power or to run away and conserve health. Learn these things, and cruisers can bully a BB with a little support.

[LEOND] Foehamster419 Players 144 posts 5,246 battles Report post #5 Posted January 9, 2016 I just got blown out of the water in my Omaha with a single salvo from a Fuso at 15km. Therefor the ship is too goddamn powerful! If this keeps happening to you, maybe you are just driving your cruisers... eh... bad.

Kurbain Players 1,976 posts 2,773 battles Report post #7 Posted January 9, 2016 You don't need to be in an Omaha to get that kind of experience. https://gfycat.com/SandyCoolItalianbrownbear Ensure that you are properly angled whenever there is a BB in range and periodically zoom in to have a look at their turret positions to see if you are being targeted. The citadeling only gets worse the higher you move up in the tiers as player skill and BB accuracy improves. Such is the life of us cruiser players.

[BLOBS] StuntMan0369 Beta Tester 923 posts 4,848 battles Report post #12 Posted January 9, 2016 'Poi' is a reference to Yuudachi from the KanColle anime. She says it often as a sort of 'vocal tick' which has become a meme in itself. Poi means 'apparently' or 'supposedly' and is actually a reference to the historical uncertainty around the real ship Yuudachi's fate. Both the Japanese and Americans have different accounts of how Yuudachi fought, so the writers used her vocal tick of 'Poi' to reflect that.

Kurbain Players 1,976 posts 2,773 battles Report post #19 Posted January 9, 2016 New Mexico is better I think, especially in ranked. Despite the excellent armor of the New Mexico, I would still consider the Fuso better for ranked.Range: New Mexico: 17,3 KM(?) Fuso: 21,8 KM Speed: New Mexico: 21 Knots Fuso: 24,5 Knots Firing Speed: New Mexico: 1,8 rounds per minute (33,3 sec reload) Fuso: 2,1 rounds per minute (28,57 sec reload) Health: New Mexico: 53200 Fuso: 57100 + Better accuracy, but it loses out on concealment, rudder shift time, turning circle radius and AA. In short the New Mexico is much better for tanking and the Fuso much better for killing (everything that is not a New Mexico).

Best tier 6? At the moment we only have 2 tier 6 battleships though so not much comparison (ok plus the Warspite). I have both. I think Fuso is slightly better when upgraded, but not much, which kinda makes up for it being so s**t when stock or semi stock. So far it is the only ship that I spent so much free XP to upgrade, and I didn't free xp the Karlsruhe by the way. Whereas I had no problem whatsoever grinding the New Mexico, and haven't spent one bit of free XP for it. The Fuso might be a little bit more fun to play though because you have six turrets, which reload faster. I love shooting the front 3, make the opponent think I'm reloading, wait for him to show broadside, then fire the back 3 after turning slightly, then repeat. The Fuso has better AA but being a longer ship, has a harder time against torpedoes and torpedo planes compared to the New Mex. All in all I like both. red_eye1980 Players 387 posts 3,102 battles Report post #22 Posted January 9, 2016 I stand corrected sir, maybe I didn't notice that because on the Fuso I got the AA upgrade, whereas on the New Mex, I got the secondary armament one. That's why I use an online site instead of my personal port for checking ship stats - that way I know I'm not including a flag or module I have installed
